The influence and power of Girls' Generation and 2NE1 is really massive! On June 28, K-pop enthusiasts and netizens are shocked and wondering why the hashtags, #Stream2NE1ComeBackHome, and #StreamSNSDMrMr suddenly became trending in Twitter real-time searches, despite its release six years ago.
Well, to explain this event, this happened amidst the K-pop fandoms' battle on giving their favorite idol groups 100 M views on YouTube, given the back-to-back comeback of some of the best groups of the new generation, including BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN and many more.
Thus, Blackjacks, the fandom of 2NE1, and SONES, the fanbase of Girls' Generation revives their long-time "fan war" into "funwar" or a friendly war when a Facebook fan account, Kuyang Multi, posted a discussion if which group is going to have 90 Million views first.

In his post, He said, "Hey, SONEs and Blackjacks, do you really think that our fan war already concluded?" calling the attention of the two fandoms to race for 90 Million views, (hereinafter 100 Million Views.) 2NE1's "Come Back Home," and Girls' Generation's "Mr Mr" are both released in 2014, with over 87 Million views after six years. As the post of the fan account trended and even reached the international fans, the two fandoms then decided to accept the friendly streaming race, while posting some funny memes regarding Girls' Generations and 2NE1, teasing and roasting the idol groups, making it more fun.

Currently, 2NE1 is leading with more than 88 Million views, while Girls Generation's MV has approximately 87.5 Million Views.
Meanwhile, fans are happy to be able to go back to the nostalgic feeling of engaging in fan wars, now that some of the young fans way back 2014 of the two legendary groups, already have their families, are working, and are busy with their lives.
