BTS's Jungkook has drawn attention due to how often he is searched for on Google.

Jungkook was the top K-Pop idol search on Google for the first half of 2020, ranking at the top for 22 weeks out of the 25 weeks. He is also the first singer in the world to surpass 10 billion views on Tik Tok, with fans continuously watching videos tagged #Jungkook. He is also the most searched idol on YouTube.

Related search terms also ranked high, according to numerous media outlets. These related search terms are "still with you", "still with you jungkook", and "still with you lyrics".

Additionally, fellow BTS members V, Jimin, and Suga ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. BLACKPINK's Lisa ranked 5th on the list. Jungkook showed his popularity by being trending searched in the North America, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and some parts of Africa.

In May last month, "METRO" and "VOGUE" had also reported that Jungkook topped Google's mos search K-Pop idol list in the first quarter of 2020. The largest and most historic German magazine, "BRAVO", noted that Jungkook is Google's most-searched male K-Pop idol in history.

In 2018, Jungkook's solo track "Euphoria" was named the longest-charting song by a male K-Pop artist on the Billboard chart for World Digital Song Sales, and stayed on the charts for an impressive 26 weeks. He sold over 4 million copies worldwide, and "Euphoria" is the highest-selling b-side track by a Korean artist.

BTS debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment are known for co-writing and producing most of their material. Jungkook debuted as the main vocalist, lead dancer, sub=rapper, center, the face of the group, and maknae.

BTS were able to touch the hearts of their audience with their lyrics, which usually focus on personal and social commentary, mental illness, troubles of adolescence, loving, and being oneself.

With "Wings" being BTS's first album to sell one million copies in South Korea, the boys were able to bring their music to the West, leading the Hallyu Wave into the United States and breaking numerous records. They are the first Korean group to receive certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. They are the first Korean act to top the Billboard 200 with "Love Yourself: Tear" and have hit the top of the U.S. charts numerous times. They are the fastest group since the Beatles to earn four number one albums in less than 2 years.

Further, BTS is the best-selling artist in South Korean history and was the second best-selling artist of 2018. Media outlets have dubbed then as the "Princes of Pop" and were in Time's 100 most influential people in the world list in 2019

They are the youngest ever recipients of the Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea.
