With half of the year over, let's take a look back to see which albums that were released around this time sold the most. Take note: These numbers come from the Hanteo charts.

10. NCT 127 - "Neo Zone: The Final Round"

During the first half of 2020, "Neo Zone: The Final Round" sold 335,275 copies.

This album is a repackaged version of "Neo Zone" that was released on May 2020. The album includes their lead single "Punch." "Neo Zone" is available in two versions, with a CD-R with seventeen tracks, a photo booklet, and collectibles. 

9. GOT7 - "DYE"

During the first half of 2020, "Dye" sold 349,693 copies.

"Dye" was released on April 2020 and is an EP featuring six songs, including the lead single "Not By The Moon", as well as four bonus tracks. The album debuted on top of the charts and entered the Billboard World Album Charts at number four.

8. TWICE - "More & More"

During the first half of 2020, "More & More" sold 370,289 copies.

"More & More" is the group's ninth EP. It was released on June 2020 and features a lead single of the same name. Notably, it is the first comeback member Mina participated on following her hiatus in 2019. She previously went on a hiatus to focus on her mental health.

7. IZ*ONE - "Oneiric Diary"

During the first half of 2020,  "Oneiric Diary" sold 418,701 copies.

"Oneiric Diary" is IZ*ONE's third EP. It was released on June 2020 and features two versions: "Diary" and "Oneiric." The EP consists of eight tracks including the lead single, "Secret Story of the Swan." The group saw 389,334 copies sold on its first seven days.

6. IZ*ONE - "Bloom*Iz"

During the first half of 2020, "Bloom*Iz" sold 441,352 copies.

"Bloom*Iz" is the group's first studio album. It was released in February 2020 and features 12 tracks, including the title song "Fiesta." It was originally scheduled for released on November 2019, but was postponed after Mnet was revealed for manipulating the votes of "Produce 48" and "PRODUCE X 101." The album is available in three versions: "I Was", "I Am", and "I Will."

5. NCT 127 - "Neo Zone"

During the first half of 2020, "Neo Zone" sold 449,479 copies.

"Neo Zone" was released in January 2020 and is the groups second full-length album. The lead single off the album is "Kick It." The album was initially released with two version, N and C. The T version was released in March 2020. All of the songs off the album - except the interlude - was uploaded onto the group's official YouTube channel.

4. NCT Dream - "Reload"

During the first half of 2020,  "Reload" sold 551,538 copies.

"Reload" is the fourth EP from NCT Dream and was released April 2020. The album is the group's last as six-members, as SM Entertainment had terminated the age-based graduation system of the group, allowing Mark to re-enter the group despite his supposed graduation. The album contains five songs, incluiding the title track "Ridin." The EP was the second-best selling album of April 2020 and appeared on the US World Albums chart at number 7. The group also topped the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart for the first time with this EP.

3. Baekhyun - "Delight"

During the first half of 2020,  "Delight" sold 897,871 copies.

"Delight" is the second solo EP released by the EXO member. It was released in May 2020 and featured seven tracks, including the title song "Candy." The album has four versions: "Cinnamon," "Honey," "Mint," and "Chemistry."

Notably, the EP sold over one million copies a little bit after the second half of 2020, making "Delight" the first South Korean soloist album to do so in 19 years. It is one of the best selling albums in South Korean history.

2. SEVENTEEN - "Heng:garae"

During the first half of 2020, "Heng:garae" sold 1,102,354 copies.

"Heng:garae" is SEVENTEEN's seventh mini album and was released in June 2020. The mini album contained six tracks, including the title track "Left & Right". The album comes in four CD versions: "Hana," "Dul," "Set," and "Net," These translate to "One," "Two," "Three," and "Four," respectively.

1. BTS - "Map of the Soul: 7"

During the first half of 2020, "Map of the Soul: 7" sold 3,790,648 copies.

"Map of the Soul: 7" is BTS's fourth Korean studio album and seventh studio album overall. It was released in February 2020 and contains twenty songs, including the album's first single "Black Swan" and the lead single "ON." The album debuted at number one at the US Billboard 200 chart. The album also broke Adele's five year iTunes record by topping the charts of 103 countries. Both of the album's singles entered the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
