ASTRO Cha Eun Woo Selected as The Newest Seoul Ambassador for "Visit Seoul"
Cha Eun Woo has been selected as an ambassador of Seoul 2020 by Visit Seoul.
Visit Seoul is a Seoul affiliated institute of tourism marketing. Visit Seoul and Cha Eun Woo have collaborated and produced a promotional video of Seoul, which will be released on all of Visit Seoul's official social media accounts on July 20.
They are currently marketing Cha Eun Woo as their latest ambassador on social media through a puzzle, asking viewers to guess who their newest "Seoul Guide" is. He is even being promoted in China through Weibo, in which the first 15 commenters who guess who the new guide is will be given protective phone cases.

Cha Eun Woo made his debut as an idol in the group ASTRO back in 2016 under Fantagio Entertainment. In the group, he is the vocalist, visual, and face of the group. In 2016, he was the MC of the "Show! Music Core" alongside Kim Sae Ron and Lee Soo Min, and he held that position from 2016 to 2018.
He previously made his debut as an actor with a minor role in the 2014 film "My Brilliant Life." With ASTRO, he appeared in the web drama "To Be Continued" in 2015 and was the group's first activity together prior to their debut.
In 2017, Cha Eun Woo was cast in the KBS2 drama "Hit The Top." He also starred in the web drama "Sweet Revenge."
In 2018, Cha Eun Woo starred in "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty," which is arguably one of his more popular dramas. Following this, he was included in GQ Korea's "Men of the Year."
In 2019, he, alongside Shin Se Kyung, starred in the historical drama "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung." In the 2019 MBC Awards, Cha Eun Woo won the Excellence Award for an Actor and Best Couple Award with Shin Se Kyung. That same year, he was named as the "2019 Hot Instagrammer - Male" in the K-Pop Radar Year-End Chart. He also ranked 7th on the overall male idol brand reputation lists, garnering 44,1178,474 accumulated points.
He is currently part of "Master in the House" as a fixed cast member.
