tvN issued apology over the controversial subtitle of "Amazing Saturday-Doremi Market" for EXO's Chanyeol.

The tvN D clip business team said on its official YouTube channel on the 30th, "A thumbnail subtitle referring to EXO Chanyeol among the 'Nolto EXO clips' uploaded to the YouTube tvN D ENT channel caused inconvenience to many people. The same thing happened because we used inappropriate expressions in the process of producing clip video thumbnails and failed to confirm the contents during the inspection process."

Moreover, they have publicly expressed their request for forgiveness to the EXO member. "We sincerely apologize to EXO Chanyeol and all those who felt uncomfortable with the inappropriate thumbnail of the video re-edited by the Clip Business Team, and to the production team on 'An Amazing Saturday.'" 

"The clips were immediately closed to the public, and we will make every effort to prevent the same problem from happening again by sharing the clips and thumbnail production team," they added.

Earlier on tvN D's YouTube channel, "Maximizing the overall difficulty," a clip of "Nolto," titled "Chanyeol, the king of diction like persimmons," was posted. In a title reminiscent of slang, internet users and EXO-Ls pointed out that the the idol was ridiculed too much. The subject was immediately at the center of controversy.

Yesterday afternoon, among the 'Nolto EXO clip' uploaded on YouTube tvN D ENT channel, the thumbnail subtitles referring to EXO Chanyeol caused inconvenience to many people.

The production and the actual video upload are carried out separately by the clip business team, which re-organizes and uploads clips using content that has already been broadcast, not by the Amazing Saturday production team.

This happened because inappropriate expressions were used during the production of clip video thumbnail and the contents could not be checked during the inspection process.

I sincerely apologize to EXO Chanyeol for the damage caused by the inappropriate thumbnail of the video re-edited by the clip business team, everyone who felt uncomfortable, and the amazing Saturday production team.

The clip was immediately closed to the public, and we will make every effort to prevent the same problem from happening again by sharing the clips and thumbnail crew on Saturday and checking the inspection process.

We will do our best not to cause inconvenience to our subscribers and viewers."

Meanwhile, EXO Chanyeol is confirmed to star on his first lead role in a Korean movie called, "The Box." SM Entertainment has revealed this on the 29th.
