WJSN Yeonjung Reveals How She Became BFFs With TWICE Sana
WJSN's Yeonjung shared details about her adorable friendship with TWICE's Sana!
On August 2, Sunday, Yeonjung shared photos of her and Sana on their latest friendly date. The photo is strips from a photobooth and the idols are seen posing and having fun together. The caption reads, "It's been a long yet healing day."

Earlier this year, the two girls surprised their fans by sharing photos of themselves to their respective social media platforms.
Back in February, Yeonjung revealed how the two become the most adorable BFFs. Back when WJSN was promoting "Dreams Come True" in February 2018, Yeonjung was told by her manager that Sana had told their manager that she found Yeonjung adorable and that she wanted to be friends. Yeonjung said that she too wanted to be friends and they had their first outing together last Christmas Eve. It's a good thing TWICE's manager and WJSN's manager knew each other and brought the two girls together!
On August 3, Monday, Yeonjung held a live broadcast to celebrate her birthday witht he fans. During the broadcast, a fan had asked her if she had met up with Sana for her birthday. Yeonjung then said they didn't meet for a particular reason. She started delving in more to their friendship, sharing details the fans didn't know about them!
She revealed that their hangouts happen spontaneously and that they'll just suddenly meet up if one asks the other if they want to meet. She also revealed that Sana had given her a long list of food she wants to try, joking, "She know about more good restaurants in Korea than I do!"
She then shared some unreleased photo of the two. She laughed and told the fans that whenever the two meet up, they end up taking lots of photos with each other!

Yeongjung was first introduced to the public through the Mnet reality show "Produce 101". Yeonjung had place 11th place in the final episode and first made her debut in the project group I.O.I in 2016. In 2017, she was added to WJSN (Cosmic Girls) as the group's thirteenth member. Currently, she is WJSN's main vocalist and maknae.
In December 2017, Yeonjung made her acting debut with a cameo in "A Korean Odyssey."
In 2019, Yeonjung participated in the survival program "V-1", where they select a vocal queen amongst various girl group members. She ended up winning the competition after beating Dreamcatcher's Soyeon in the finals.
Sana debuted with TWICE in 2015 as the group's sub vocalist. She was first introduced to the public earlier that year, competing in the JYP Entertainment survival show "SIXTEEN," a show in which the chosen members would debut in the company's new girl group.
The idol is known for her energetic and cheerful personality, and her popularity in South Korea has been credited as improving relations between Japan and Korea (along with TWICE's other Japanese members, Momo and Mina). In 2018, Sana was named the 17th most popular idol in South Korea, making her the highest ranking Japanese idol in the poll. She ranked 15th in 2019. In 2019, Sana was ranked as the most popular female idol amongst soldiers doing their mandatory military services.
