On August 4, two of the "Big 3" agencies, JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment, announced Beyond LIVE Corporation (BLC), a professional company for the world's first online-only concert, Beyond LIVE.

JYPE confirmed the reports saying, "The two companies representing K-pop will jointly lead the growth of global online concert brands."

BLC is a company that plans and operates Beyond LIVE and will add JYP's global network and creative to the synergy that combines SM's content production capabilities and Naver's technology. By doing so, it is predicted that Beyond LIVE will grow into a global online concert brand by strengthening global joint business development.

Beyond LIVE, which debuted in April, is the world's first paid online concert. It is well-received that it has opened a new future for digital performance culture that has evolved with AR technology and interactive communication through multiple video connections by realizing new culture technology (CT) in the field of concerts.

SM Entertainment artists SuperM, Super Junior, NCT (NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV), as well as TVXQ, are some of the first artists who successfully held their first online concert broadcasted around the world.

Amidst the pandemic, online concerts are useful to communicate and interact with fans virtually. On the group's online concerts, a huge screen flashing every audience on their own comfort is present in the venue, as well as a particular syncing device was created, connecting their official lightstick to improve the quality of watching the concert.

However, as it was discussed, the online concert is paid and can be accessed only if a fan will be paying approximately $30 or 1,500 coins through V Live app. But the perks of paying is that two devices can connect to the concert simultaneously, as well as they can enjoy unlimited access to the VOD (Video on Demand), wherein five devices can join simultaneously to watch or download the recorded version with complete English subtitle in 1080p video quality.

On the other hand, JYP Entertainment will be showcasing its first artist to have a Beyond LIVE concert, which is their top girl group TWICE.

In particular, on August 9, the global girl group will hold "Beyond LIVE-TWICE: World in A Day." As a hitmaker and global producer, Park Jinyoung, participated in the project, it is expected to receive a more enthusiastic response.

With the concept of "World Tour in a Day," TWICE will breathe and communicate with fans around the world through the stage after a long time based on online space. From 3:00 p.m. on August 9, it will be broadcast live to the world through Naver V Live.

It is also expected that more K-pop groups coming from SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment will be scheduled to have their own concerts, such as EXO, Red Velvet, GOT7, Stray Kids, ITZY, and other active groups.
