NCT's Chenle is one lucky fanboy - the idol has just been noticed by his favorite basketball player, Stephen Curry!

Earlier this week, Chenle appeared in a YouTube segment with NCT members Mark and Johnny, in which the latter two members embarked on a three-step mission to get noticed by Stephen Curry through YouTube. In the video, Mark and Johnny were seen teaching Chenle some English to help him get noticed by the basketball player.

Turns out, a tweet was all they needed!

On August 6, Thursday, Chenle posted a tweet that reads, "Everyone, I had so much fun learning English from Marky and Johnny! I want to meet Stephen Curry 'ASAP'. See you again soon! I'll BRB."

Stephen Curry then replied to the tweet, sending Chenle a sweet message. "Once the world gets back to normal, let's make it happen!"

Just a day before, Chenle was seen replying to Stephen Curry's tweet, calling him the GOAT!

During NCT's "Empathy" era, Chenle wrote in his diary that he dreamed of playing basketball with fellow NCT Dream member Jisung and Stephen Curry. He drew out the scene and made sure to add the Golden State Warriors' logo to show his love for the team.

Chenle even owns three pairs of Under Armour's Curry 6 shoes and a pair of the Curry 7 shoes. The Curry 7 is a limited edition and only 120 pairs were sold. There's a chance the idol might have more. This just goes to show that he's a loyal fan.

Have you ever been noticed by a celebrity?

Chenle debuted in 2016 with NCT Dream, the third NCT sub-unit, under SM Entertainment. Prior to his debut, Chenle was a singer in China. In 2009, he participated in the Hajj Children's Channel held by Yueyue Elf Vs Season Trial, where he won the runner-up and Elf Genie Award. The year after, he participated in the National Chinese Young Talent Section, where he won a gold model for the vocal group.

When he was nine years old, Chenle was invited to perform the song "Memory" from the musical "Cats", at the Golden Hall of Vienna. He is the youngest singer to hold a solo concert there. He released his first album in 2010 called "Tomorrow", and released his second a year after, titled "My Wings".

He had appeared in "China's Got Talent". Following his appearance on the show, he released three albums and started posting cover songs to his YouTube Channel. He is, to this day, part of the World Organization of Child Ambassadors of Peace as China's representative.

When he was eleven years old, he acted in the Chinese drama "The Queen of SOP 2". Before moving to Korea to be a trainee, his parents held him a solo concert at the Shanghai Concert Hall.

He debuted in South Korea as a member of NCT Dream and is one of the two Chinese members of the group alongside Renjun. Both the Chinese members were not introduced as part of SM Rookies. He debuted after only four months of training.

In April 2020, it was announced on Weibo that both Renjun and Chele had graduated from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy with the class of 2020.
