BTS Jimin Dominates August Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings + See Complete List

BTS's Jimin claimed the first seat amongst members of boy groups for this month's brand reputation ranking.

Jimin has topped the list of individual brand reputation of boy band for 20 consecutive months after the result of the August Boy Group Member's Brand Reputation is unveiled. He ranked No. 1 based on the August 2020 "Brand Reputation Index" released by the Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation on the 15th. It is the 20th consecutive month that the company proclaims him since January 2019.

The Brand Reputation Index is an indicator of consumers' online habits through brand big data analysis. It also included a positive and negative assessment of the boy group's personal brand, media attention, and the amount of interest and communication among consumers, and a qualitative assessment of brand valuation analysis as well brand reputation monitors.

On the other hand, BTS Jungkook took the second spot as his recent activities have greatly influenced his brand reputation his August. In particular, his high "donation" was measured in the link analysis to have been a great driving force for fans to join Jungkook's usual good influence and form a culture of good deeds. His fans donated for the flood victims who were hit by torrential rains, and also extended their help to the disaster in Beirut, Lebanon.

Another keyword "Promise" was Jungkook's first self-composed song and ranked among the top two streaming songs in Soundcloud history, becoming the first and only K-pop record for a Korean song. On the 6th, it surpassed 235 million streams and set a milestone in topping soundcloud's "All Genre" and "Hip Hop & Lab" charts.
