Have you ever wondered where your favorite K-Pop song came from? Most are produced by either in-house producers or are bought from producers outside of the label. Some of the demos of hit songs have been released, and they are all surprisingly just as good as the official released version! Check out these amazing K-Pop demos down below!

1. f(x) - "Four Walls"

"Four Walls" was produced by one of the most sought-after producers in the music industry, LDN Noise, and was written by Tay Jasper and Adrian. Known as the group's last comeback before their hiatus, the song is loved by K-Pop fans for its amazing house beat, which has become increasingly rare throughout the years.

2. EXO - "The Eve"

The demo for "The Eve" was actually written and sang by then-fellow SM Entertainment labelmate Henry from Super Junior-M! The demo was posted in SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel, showcasing Henry's amazing vocals and songwriting. The demo version is in English.

3. Red Velvet - "Psycho"

"Psycho" was produced and written by Cazzi Opeai, Drew Ryan Scott, and EJAE. The song talks about a love that is toxic but addicting, making it hard to let go, which is similar to Red Velvet's actual lyrics for the official version. For those who want to jam out to the song in English, a high-quality version of the demo has been released to YouTube.

4. DJ Snake feat. Justin Bieber - "Let Me Love You"

This is the only non-K-pop song on the list, but there's a reason! Though the song was a huge hit once released thanks to Justin Bieber's popularity, most people don't know that former 2NE1 member CL actually recorded the vocals for the demo in 2016! How cool would it have been if she released it for her American comeback?

5. EXO - "Ko Ko Bop"

As most fans know by now, "Ko Ko Bop" was actually made for Red Velvet, which is why a girl does the vocals for the song. Written by Shaylen and Tay Jasper and produced by Styalz Fuego, the song ended up going to EXO and was a huge hit, well-loved by fans for its tropical beat and reggae influences.

6. Red Velvet - IRENE & SEULGI - "Monster"

Though the demo was never officially released, fans were able to hear it when the choreographers shared the original dance with the demo version of the song. Fans loved this version, having a male and female duet rather than two girls. The song was produced by Delaney Jane, Jenson Vaughan, Yaakov Gruzman, and Yoo Youngjin.

7. TWICE - "MORE & MORE"

It was recently revealed that TWICE's "MORE & MORE" was actually a demo from Zarra Lasson, who had recorded the song (which was originally titled "Back & Forth") in 2015 and was originally meant to be part of her debut album "So Good". She never released it and it was instead sold to JYP Entertainment and used for TWICE's latest comeback, "MORE & MORE". Though numerous versions of the song were uploaded online, they appear to be taken down, and only edited or pitched versions of the demo are online.
