BTOB Lee Changsub Released From The Military

BTOB's Lee Changsub finished his military service as an active member of the army on the 21st and has been finally discharged from the military.

The singer, who has been on vacation last year, was discharged from the military without returning to his post to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. He entered the Army Training Center in January last year, and has served as a military band member of the Ministry of National Defense's support group.

Among BTOB members, he became the second one to enter the camp, following leader Seo Eun Kwang. Lee Min Hyuk, on the other hand, is scheduled to be released in September. Yook Sungjae and Lim Hyun Sik entered the army in May. Jung Il Hoon is serving as a substitute for social service.

Lee Changsub made his debut with BTOB members in 2012. He has worked as a solo singer and musical actor at the same time. He is originally from Gyeonggi-do in South Korea and has studied at Howon University under Practical Music. He did various activities aside from being a K-pop idol. Before his debut, he received a Daesang during the 16th Suwon Music Festival in 2008.

Lee Changsub is also known for his generous heart as he donated 10 million South Korean won to his middle school, the Samil Commercial High School, where he said that it is an honor for him to give such amount for the welfare of the younger generation. He said that he had come this far because of his teachers and his alma mater.

After debuting as one of BTOB's members, he also pursued his solo career with his album "bpm 82.5" in Japan in 2017. The following year, he released his first Korean solo album, "Mark," and said that he is dedicating it to his fans before his enlistment.
