Super Rookies CRAVITY Held Their First Online Showcase

Super rookies CRAVITY just released their latest mini-album "CRAVITY Season 2. Hideout: The New Day We Step Into" on August 24, Monday, and held their first-ever online showcase on Naver V Live at 8 PM that same day.

To commemorate the release of their new mini-album, CRAVITY introduced their new songs to fans through the online showcase. With this, they were able to celebrate the comeback with fans from all around the world, share news about the album, and interact with fans in fun and unique ways.

CRAVITY has been receiving much attention these days for their talents and skills, and people were very interested in their first showcase in awhile. During the comeback showcase, CRAVITY unveiled their new title song "Flame", a song in which fans have been eagerly waiting to be released. "Flame" is a song that carries the group's passion and is as fierce as the heat of the summer. It is a dance-pop track that takes about overcoming ones own limits and boundaries after breaking the rules. The song definitely shows off the group's musical color and how much they matured since their debut in April.

The group also performed their new songs from their latest mini-album. On top of that, they were able to share some behind-the-scenes stories, from album preparation to winning the "Rookie of the Year" award.

Members Serim and Allen also spoke about writing the lyrics for the rap portions of the album, and fans are eager to hear the new colors they have for their album. According to Serim, one song of the mini-album that has a special play in his heart is "Realize", as he wrote the song while thinking about their fans, Luvity. "Realize", according to Serim, is a song about how a person feels empty and sad, but they find someone to lean on and go through life with.

CRAVITY is a nine-member boy group under Starship Entertainment that debuted in April 2020. The members are Minhee, Seongmin, Hyeongjun, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Taeyoung, Serim, and Allen. They debuted in April with the song "Break All The Rules" from their mini-album "CRAVITY Season 1. [Hideout: Remember Who We Are]". "Break The Rules" is a song that talks about freedom and maturity, breaking free from the rules.

CRAVITY is Starship Entertainment's first boy group to come from the company since MONSTA X, who debuted in 2015.

The boys proved their global popularity, ranking first in seven regions on the iTunes K-pop Albums charts, ranking in the top three in twelve regions, and ranked fourth on the iTunes Albums Charts. Additionally, CRAVITY charted at number twelve on the Billboard Social 50 Chart. The boys have won the "Rookie of the Year" award at the Soribada Music Awards, which was held this August. Their debut mini-album also charted at number one on the Hanteo Chart's record of all groups that debuted within the first half of 2020.

Following their successful debut, CRAVITY plans to release even deeper music that highlights their story, as well as to release high-quality content through its second season. It seems the boys are rushing towards their goal of moving forward into the world with higher quality releases eah comeback!
