BTS's history maker V has once again proven that he can smash any record he wants. This time, he has broken a record on the popular video-sharing platform, TikTok!

On August 26, Thursday, it was revealed that the BTS member is the first and only artist in the world to reach 10 billion views with two of his hashtags. Both the hashtags #V and #Taehyung have surpassed 10 billion views. As of now, V is the only BTS member to have achieved this milestone.

This is not the first time V has gone viral on the platform. Early this year, V's iconic line from the "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon", "I'm a Good Boy," became a big challenge on TikTok, with numerous people on the platform using the sound of him speaking to make their videos. Numerous famous TikTokers and people with millions of followers have actively participated in the viral trend.

Back in May, three videos of V were part of the top ten most-watched videos from the viral TikTok trend, the "Pound the Alarm Challenge." Though the trend was usually being used for anime characters, it's not shocking that V occupied those three spots due to how famous he is.

He has become even more viral on TikTok following the release of BTS's new all-English single "Dynamite." The platform is currently seeing a trend of 90s retro-themed edits of celebrities, and numerous videos of V with the same style had started becoming hop topics on the social media platform.

  This is not the only record V has broken this month. With one simple tweet, the BTS member broke three world records! Earlier this month, V had shared a mirror selfie of him with a new hairstyle, an expensive black embroidered jacket, and a Samsung Galaxy S20, which was simply captioned "Hi Army." Despite the simplicity of the tweet, he broke records almost instantly.

Currently, V is the fastest Korean solo artist to reach one million likes on Twitter and is the fastest artist in the world to break two million likes in a single tweet. His tweet is also the quickest tweet by any artist in the world to surpass one million retweets, having reached that number in just 23 hours and nine minutes.

The tweet had gone so viral that even non-K-pop fans had started noticing V, from fan accounts of Western artists to simple accounts of everyday people. Even American skincare brand Sunday Riley noticed V's tweet! His magic touch was noticed by Samsung Mobile themselves, who shared an article about the BTS effect and how they have stirred new interest in the Samsung Galaxy S20. The article mentions how the selfie of V holding his phone camera to take a picture sparked interest in the phone brand in China.
