ARMYs Send Truck To Big Hit Entertainment Demanding Fair Treatment for BTS Jin

Following the release of BTS's music video for their all-English single "Dynamite", fans have flooded social media, pointing out that Jin was not given the same treatment as the other members. Taking matters into their own hands, ARMYs sent a truck to Big Hit Entertainment, demanding proper treatment for Jin.

When the music video dropped, fans immediately noticed that Jin did not get as much solo screen time as the other members. Additionally, each of their members had their own elaborately designed set, while Jin just had a simple white and green wall. On top of that, each member's solo shots were seen back to back, but Jin's first appearance in the music video was two minutes and 25 seconds into the video, which is already halfway into the song. It was not a solo shot as well, which led fans to be even more enraged.

When BTS dropped the acoustic and EDM remixes of "Dyanmite" on August 24, fans called out Big Hit Entertainment once more for omitting Jin's part in the EDM remix. Fans claim that it was either removed entirely or edited to the point they could no longer hear Jin's voice. This paired up with Jin's lack of screen time caused fans to trend the hashtag #JinDeservesBetter, making sure to tag their company so they hear their dissatisfaction for how they treat Jin.

Numerous ARMYs supported the protest truck, sharing photos of it online and trending the hashtags #BigHitLetJinShine and #BigHitBeFairToJin. Some have also trended #BigHitLetJinAct, as many note that Jin originally signed with Big Hit Entertainment to be an actor during his trainee days and that he had majored in Film Studies during university. Fans want Jin to have the same exposure as the other members.

Some, however, have said that the truck might lead to a negative outcome rather than the intended positive outcome. Numerous ARMYs have pointed out that Jin might feel embarrassed over the truck and how it highlights his lack of screen time rather than him appreciating the truck. Many believes fans should not be meddling with Big Hit Entertainment and their plans for BTS. Some have said there are numerous ways to make their voices heard, and this should not be one of them.

This is not the first time fans have called for proper treatment of a BTS member this month. On August 13, fans noticed that V's name was not included in the cast of their documentary film "Break the Silence: The Movie", while all the other members were listed as actors. This spurred fans to trend "BTS is 7", reminding not only Big Hit Entertainment but numerous media outlets that BTS has seven members and all of them should be treated fairly.
