WIth how big K-pop is in Japan, it's no surprise some idols have achieved major success in the country. According to the Japanese public, these are the most famous K-pop idols in the country.
1. TWICE's Tzuyu
Despite not being one of the three Japanese members, Tzuyu reigns supreme as the most popular TWICE member in Japan. Even before her debut, the Japanese trainees would gush about how beautiful she is. It's the same with Japanese netizens. Many find her so pretty, with some commenting she looks chic and cold when she has a poker face but becomes adorable when she smiles.
2. BTS's V
In May 2020, V ranked at #6 in Japan's Twipple "Celebrity Rank" list. V was the only non-Japanse artist to make the top 10, making him not only the most popular BTS member in Japan but the most popular Korean celebrity in the country. Due to his popularity, the Japanese music market has been nicknamed "TaeTaeLand" by Korean media, noting how anything BTS related is amongst the best-selling products, but with anything related to V always being sold out the fastest.
3. EXO's Baekhyun
According to Japanese fans, Baekhyun is the most popular EXO member in Japan. Baekhyun's versions of EXO albums are the first to be sold out in Amazon Japan and was the fastest one to be sold out in Tower Record. According to Japanese fan, Luhan was the most popular but since he left EXO, Baekhyun became the most popular.

4. BLACKPINK's Lisa
Lisa is popular in Japan, with people saying she has the perfect Japanese celebrity face. Some even commented that she has the visuals of a living anime character. She is often trending on Japanese Twitter, with people often gushing about how gorgeous she is.
5. SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan
Jeonghan gained fame in Japan as being "the anime guy" due to his resemblance to numerous anime characters, whether it be with his long hair or short hair. Japanese netizens say Jeonghan has a massive fan following, with some even saying it's cult-like. Even non-K-pop fans known Jeonghan and can recognize his face.
6. NCT's Jaehyun
Jaehyun is so popular in Japan, that every time his version of an album is released, it is usually the first one to get sold out both in Amazon Japan and Tower Records. The Japanese public love Jaehyun's actor look, saying it makes him appear more charismatic.

7. TXT's Yeonjun

She has a small, petite statue with visuals that almost elf-life. Plus, she has an adorable voice that matches her looks.
