On Weibo, the largest social media platform in China, EXO Kai became continuously targeted by anti-fans after he received hate and criticism for no reason for the past weeks. Due to this, EXO-Ls are doing their best to protect the idol and have been calling out SM Entertainment's attention to protect the idol from hateful comments.

On August 31, EXO-Ls and Erigoms (Kai's fans) trended #SMProtectKai on Twitter. This is after the malicious comments against Kai were ongoing on Weibo for weeks. According to fans, the hate that the idol received get worse each day, and even attacks his personal life.

On some comments on the social media platform, anti-fans are mocking his appearance and color, cursing and speaking ill about him, insulting him, receiving death threats that even his family were being involved already.

Due to this, Chinese EXO-Ls or Cherries are extremely upset, along with Korean fans and international fans that the K-pop idol is getting such hideous remarks despite not doing anything wrong. Cherries are also expressing their frustrations that anti-fans are using the Chinese platform to spread negativity and direct the blame to them.

To prevent these anti-fans from doing more damage to Kai and fans as well, EXO-Ls joined forces to call on SM Entertainment's action to put an end to these trolls lurking on social media to defame their artists.

Kai's international fans are spreading posters and guides on how EXO-Ls and other supporters of the idol can send an email and report to the agency.

On EXO's appearance on Radio Star, Kai already expressed that among all his members, he is affected the most by malicious comments about him. The idol explained how he thinks that he is not mentally strong, and reading such comments lead him to blame himself and regret things.

That's why fans on social media are putting lots of effort and do their best on sending Kai love and positivity on his social media accounts to affirm him that he doesn't need to blame himself and feel sorry for doing nothing.

Currently, SM Entertainment is yet to make its response.

On the other hand, other fans decided to use their energy and time on hyping up EXO's Kai and Baekhyun's comeback with SuperM on September 1 instead of engaging with anti-fans.

Recently, SuperM appeared on JTBC's "Knowing Brothers" August 29's episode, and EXO Kai made several headlines for his iconic and remarkable recent appearance on the same show.

The idol who appeared with EXO in 2019 came back with SuperM in 2020 and shared that after his viral video about 'two syllables under panties,' trended, people whom he met for the first time would call him, the 'panty' guy.

EXO Kai along with Baekhyun, SHINee Taemin, NCT 127 Mark and Taeyong, and WayV Ten and Lucas are set to release their new single "Tiger Inside" prior their first full-length album "Super One" on September 25.
