Before being K-pop idols, every artist should undergo the process of being a trainee. However, before becoming a trainee, it requires much of your effort, patience, and perseverance as it is not easy to be scouted, especially if you want to enter the top entertainment agencies, including SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment.
But in this list, these K-pop idols were merely doing their usual lives when a scout manager suddenly came to them and asked them if they want to become a K-pop trainee!
These idols are scouted in the most unusual ways, and though it's funny and at the same time weird, you could tell that the scout managers do their job properly on visualizing that these people are going to become big someday!
1.Former Miss A Suzy
When Suzy debuted, she got massive attention for her visual, which leads her to get the title, "Nation's First Love." You may think that she's a model or internet star before debuting, but fun fact, Suzy was actually scouted by JYP Entertainment when she went to the restroom while participating "Superstar K" audition in Gwangju!
2. ITZY Ryujin
Ryujin, who is currently receiving immense popularity, reveals that she was actually scouted while waiting in line for the toilet. A female JYP staff approached her and asked for her number, and Ryujin thinks she's really cute that she gives it to her without hesitating.
Ryujin was actually attending a Got7 fan meeting on that day, and who would know she would end up in the same agency as her idols!
3.Got7 JB
The main vocalist and leader of Got7, JB, actually dreamt of becoming a professional break-dancer during her pre-debut days. While on the competition with his b-boy crew, JB suddenly feel the urge to use the restroom and while on queue, he was casted by a JYP staff.
4. TVXQ Changmin
The iconic member of TVXQ Changmin actually doesn't want to become a singer. However, while playing badminton at his school, and SM scout manager saw him and told him about the offer. He would always reject it though the manager would continue pursuing him to go to the audition.
When he shared it with his mother, who is a BoA fan, she became really excited for a chance to see her idol and brought Changmin to the audition.
He eventually passed the audition and debuted in TVXQ.
5. CNBLUE Yonghwa
Yonghwa's photo, which was posted by a stranger, draw the attention of FNC Entertainment. Due to this, they tracked his information and even went to his hometown and school to pursue him as the idol declined their initial offer.
6. NCT Jaemin
This is a funny yet heartwarming way of being scouted. According to Jaemin, he was doing volunteer work and just collecting trash when an SM staff noticed him. He was immediately scouted for an audition, and her mom did send him eventually.
Fans are saying that Jaemin is a true angel, as even after his debut, he would still go to outreach programs, do volunteer works along with his co-members off-cam.
7. ITZY Yuna
Yuna's sister is a huge Btob fan, and she decided to go along with her for a music festival that the K-pop group will be attending. On that night, Yuna's visual caught a JYP casting manager's attention and pursued her to went to an audition.
