UnionWave has recently announced the name of its first multinational K-Pop girl group, PRISMA, with members coming from South Korea, USA, Italy and Spain. PRISMA is a five-member girl comprised of leader Gyeongmin, visual and lead vocal Nia, main vocal Miriam, rapper Sally, and new addition to the group main dancer Eunbyeol. Eunbyeol is a former member of the K-pop girl group Moonlight Girls.

PRISMA is scheduled to make their much-anticipated debut with an official single and music video next month.

We at KpopStarz had the chance to interview the girls to get to know them a little better. Who would have thought that these talented and beautiful girls meant to touch the skies would be so down to earth and honest about their feelings, emotions, and the journey thus far. Here's how that went!

KpopStarz: What are your plans after releasing your first single? Online shows? An album, perhaps?

PRISMA: We are definitely planning to work harder, develop our skills, because there's no limit to perfection. Also, we are planning to have an album. However, it's actually difficult to plan anything certain now due to the coronavirus situation.

KpopStarz: If you would be given an opportunity in the future, who would be the first artist you'd want to collaborate with and why?

PRISMA:  Well, good question. Let's see first who is also willing to collaborate with us.

KpopStarzIf you were talking to the younger versions of yourselves, what advice would you give?

PRISMA: Work harder, learn Korean and never give up, even for a moment.

KpopStarzYour group is geographically very diverse and unique with members coming from Italy, Spain, USA and South Korea. Did any of you experience a culture shock when you first came to Seoul? What is it like living together?

PRISMA: Miriam and Nia had a bit of cultural shock in the first days. However, girls have a very good and respectful communication between each other, so don't face any problems. There are more benefits of living together since they learn each other's culture and language. They enjoy living together.

KpopStarzPRISMA has already racked up an impressive fanbase ever since news about your debut was released. I'm sure your music will bring happiness to many. What do you guys listen to when you're in a slump or after a long day of work?

PRISMA: Well, it all depends on the mood of each of us.

KpopStarzIt is pretty well known that it is incredibly difficult to break into the K-Pop industry and yet you've managed to do so and have a global following. How do you keep yourself motivated?

PRISMA: Love and support of our fans keep us motivated enough. After reading their kind comments we feel much more energized.

It was lovely getting to know the girls a little bit more before their official debut. The KpopStarz team wishes all of them the very best of luck and lots of success!
