NCT 2020 Suprasses One Million Pre-Orders for New Album
Pre-orders for NCT 2020's upcoming album "NCT - The 2nd Album RESONANCE Pt.1)", which will be released later today on October 12, have surpassed over one million copies in pre-orders, officially marking NCT as million sellers.
As of October 11, Sunday, NCT's upcoming album recorded 1.12 million in pre-orders, making it NCT's best-selling album, even before its release, proving NCT's growing power.
The album will feature a variety of music from the NCT sub-units, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and NCT U. With the different styles and musical colors of the group, many people are anticipating the release with high expectations.

The album's title track, "Make a Wish (Birthday Song)" is receiving much attention. The song is a charming, hop-hop beat-based pop dance song that will have you hooked with its addicting whistles and the lyrics that talk about wanting to see each other achieve each's dreams and always being connected as they reach their goals. The title song will be promoted by members Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Lucas, Xiaojun, Jaemin, and Shotaro.

The album and its songs will be released on various music sites and streaming platforms at 6 PM today (KST), and the music video for the title song "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)" is expected to drop at the same time on YouTube and SMTOWN's Naver TV channel.
At 5 PM KST today, NCT 2020 will be holding the "Make a Wish" countdown live stream, which will be held on NCT's Naver V Live channel to celebrate their upcoming comebacks. the seven members who are participating in the title track will be present in the live stream and will be communicating with fans around the world, sharing stories about album preparations, and a fun question-and-answer.

NCT is a 23-member boy group under SM Entertainment. NCT is known for their unique concept of having unlimited members divided into multiple sub-units, with the members being able to be shifted in and out of each sub-unit. NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream all debuted in 2016, with NCT U being the first NCT unit to debut. WayV, NCT's first overseas localized sub-unit, debuted in 2019 and is primarily active in China and secondarily active in South Korea.
The group is composed of Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas, Mark, Xiaojun, Hendery, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Yangyang, Shotaro, Sungchan, Chenle, and Jisung.
NCT 2020 was announced on September 15 and is similar to a previous NCT project called NCT 2018, in which all the members would come together to work on an album with the introduction of new members. On September 2020, it was confirmed NCT would be releasing their second album as a whole group called "NCT - The Second Album RESONANCE Pt.1" on October 12, featuring all four units of NCT and 2 new members, Shotaro and Sungchan. The two members are set to join a future NCT sub-unit. Currently, it is unknown what the name of the future NCT sub-unit will be.
