BTS has topped the Billboard Hot 100 once again, this time with the "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat" remix, which they made in collaboration with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo.

On October 12, Monday, the Billboard Charts released the current Hot 100 for the week. Not only did BTS top the charts with "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat", their all-English single "Dynamite" sat at number two, bagging BTS both the first and second place spot!

The official BTS Twitter account shared the news with the fans, thanking the ARMYs for all their love and support. The Korean portion of their tweet reads,

"Billboard Hot100 No.1 & No.2

The BTS remix of the song was released by BTS on October 2, 2020. The remix featured a Korean verse rapped by the members and predominantly features members Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope. When fans heard about the remix and the collaboration, they were ecstatic to hear what the members would sound like with the song. Since it was released, fans have been streaming it non-stop, allowing BTS to rise on the Billboard charts.

Additionally, the song had previously opped the Billboard Global 200 charts, peaked at the top 10 on the New Zealand Hot Singles charts, and charted in the top 100 in South Korea's Gaon Charts.

BTS is the first group to have two of their songs chart at number one and nnumber two simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2009. The last artist to have done so was The Black Eyed Pease with "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling" charting at number one and number two respectively.

Previously, BTS's song "Dynamite" debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making it the group's first number-one single in the United States and their fourth top-10 entry. With that, BTS became the first Soth Korean act in Hot 100 history to debut at number one on the charts. They are also the first Asian act to do so since 1963, with the last artist to do so being Kyu Sakamoto with "Sukiyaki".

"Dynamite" had also debuted at the top of the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with 265,000 downloads. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for two conseutive weeks, making it the first since 1998 to do so. The last artist to have achieved this is Aerosmith with "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing". During its fifth week on the top 10, "Dynamite" rose to number one again with the help of the song's "Bedroom", "Midnight", "Retro", and "Slow Jam" remixes.

"Dynamite" had also previously topped the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chat and the Billboard Global 200 charts simultaneously, become the first song in Billboard history to top both of the charts at the same time.

"Dynamite" peaked at number one in the United States, Colombia Anglo, Euro Digital Song Sales, Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Malaysia, Peru Anglo, Scotland, Singapore, and South Korea. It peaked within the top 10 in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Guatemala Anglo, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Mexco Anglo, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Russia Airplay, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirate, Uruguay Anglo, and Venezuela Anglo.
