INFINITE's Kim Sung Kyu to Hold Ontact Concert 'The Day' in November

Kim Sung Kyu is about to host his first online solo concert this November!
On October 23, INFINITE's label Woollim Entertainment announced that the male artist would hold an ontact (a catchphrase for online and contact-free) concert through uploading a poster image on the official SNS of the K-POP boy group. The picture shows Kim Sung Kyu wearing a beige top and pants and details such as the title of the concert: 'THE DAY,' and the date and time: November 15 at 3 p.m. KST.
In the upcoming event, INFINITE's Kim Sung Kyu will communicate with his fans in real-time, making an ambiance that seems like the idol is on stage in front of the fans. Additionally, INSPIRITs (official fan club name) will be gifted with a stage performance that involves the singer's past and present.
This concert marks his first nine months since his 'Solo Concert [Shine Encore]' last February 7-9 at the SK Olympic Handball Arena in Seoul. It was followed by a two-day performance at the TOYOSU PIT in Japan from February 22-23. Then, the SHINE ENCORE wrapped up at the TICC in Taiwan on March 21 and 22.
Also, 'THE DAY' is Kim's second concert after his military discharge on January 8, 'Shine Encore' was his first one. He is the first INFINITE member to complete his military service, and Sungyeol comes second. The latter was discharged on October 4, which is 23 days earlier than the original schedule to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The rest of the INFINITE members, particularly Woohyun, and Sungjong, are still carrying out their military service duties. Dongwoo is currently on his final military leave and is set to be discharged soon.
Kim served as an active-duty soldier in the Goseong area for the 22nd Division Infantry 'Yulgok.' He starred in two military musicals entitled 'Shinheung Military Academy' and 'Return: The Promise of the Day.' On top of that, he received an award of appreciation for his positive cooperation, fairness among his fellow soldiers, and giving big contributions.
Meanwhile, before Sungkyu enlisted into the military, he released his first full album as a solo artist on February 26, 2018. It is called "10 Stories, which includes its title track "True Love that earned him two trophies on music shows and peaked atop the domestic chart. The album also took the No. 9 spot on Billboard's world album charts at that time.
Moreover, he held his first solo concert called 'SHINE.' It took place in Seoul for three days, from May 5-7 in 2018. The tickets for each concert got sold out in just 3 minutes, hence more seats were provided one day before the event. On the last day of his show, the idol surprisingly announced that he would be starting his military service on May 14, just a week after his concert.
