Korean Netizens Surprised After Seeing Aespa Karina's Real Visuals in Hyundai Commercial With EXO Kai
On November 1, Aespa's Karina worked alongside EXO's Kai for a special commercial and performance for Hyundai's 'Beyond DRIVE' campaign. In the video, Karina showed off her perfect visuals, with fair skin, big eyes, and plump lips. Many people are saying she looks prettier in Hyundai's video than in her official teasers for Aespa. People are showering the soon-to-debut idol with compliments, saying that she is absolutely gorgeous. Others are saying that SM Entertainment is living up to its reputation of finding and debuting beautiful talents.
Karina also surprised fans with her amazing dancing ability. During her performance, Karina perfectly executed clean and sharp movements. Even as the music gets faster and her moves get more complex, Karina doesn't show any signs of slacking, boasting her potential. But she showed way more than just hard-hitting moves. Karina also beautifully transitioned into a smoother, fluid, more emotional style of dance, showing off her versatility.
She also surprised people with her chemistry with EXO's Kai during their couple performance. She was able to perfectly match one of K-pop's best male dancer, showing her potential even as a rookie. The two were said to have practiced together every day for three months, and it seems to have paid off! The two play off each other perfectly.
Karina acts as Kai's romantic interest in the performance and pulled off the part well, with flawless facial expressions. Some Korean netizens are saying she could possibly debut as an actress later on in her career.
Karina, also known as Yoo Jimin, is captivating the audience with her gaze, causing interest in Aespa and their upcoming debut to pique. Karina has been gaining attention way back, however. Prior to being revealed as a trainee, she was active on social media as an ulzzang, drawing attention for her daily photos and selfies. Karina is a 2000 liner and is 20 years old internationally, 21 years old in Korea.
Korean netizens are really singing a different tune now! Previously, they slammed Karina for looking too similar to Aespa's first confirmed member, Winter. Korean netizens dragged both her and SM Entertainment for having the same look, claiming that there was no diversity in Aespa's visuals.
