Jay Park has revealed what he wants to do after his retirement in the music scene.

The male idol recently filmed an episode for MBC's talk show 'Radio Star' scheduled to be aired today, Wednesday, November 4, KST. A preview of the episode was uploaded on November 3 on MBC Entertainment's official YouTube channel.

During the talk, Jay Park stated that he is planning on retiring after two years as expected from the singer, who has been in the K-Pop industry since 2008. He also mentioned the hardships he experienced while keeping his career and running his entertainment agency. Also, he unveiled that he would like to train and form an idol group based on his experiences and achievements as a K-Pop group member and a solo artist.

Jay Park has mentioned his retirement in the music scene several times before in various talk shows. He even uploaded a clip of a track titled 'Encore' with a caption that says, "This word truly foreshadows retirement. It means that one can leave without regret because they did their best."

In a particular talk show, the idol stated that he sometimes wonders how long he needs to try not to spotlight others. He also said, "The reason I have been doing this all this time is that I thought of sharing some of the light with other idols, and this work is enjoyable. I like stuff like that - if someone's life can change because of me."

Park entered the K-Pop industry on September 4, 2008, when he debuted as a member of JYP Entertainment's boy group 2PM. Besides participating in his group activities, he also worked as a regular cast member in various variety shows, including 'Introducing a Star's Friend' and 'Star King' in 2009. That same year, he even became a host for a cultural variety show titled 'Nodaji.'

On September 8, 2009, just a year after his debut as a 2PM member, Jay Park announced that he would be departing from the boy group and the company following the controversy about him saying hate comments toward Korea, which were found on his personal Myspace account. After his withdrawal, 2PM continued as a six-member group.
