THE BOYZ have publicly rejected their agency, One Hundred Label's, claim that all settlement payments have been completed, as their contract lawsuit and criminal allegations against company executives continue to escalate in court and in the media.

Public Denial of "Payments Completed" Claim

On Apr. 22 KST, THE BOYZ's legal representative at law firm Yulchon released a detailed statement disputing One Hundred Label's announcement that it had finished paying the group's settlements.

The lawyer said that, as of the time the agency's "payment completed" notice was issued and even now, the members have not received any money for the third and fourth quarters of 2025, nor any of the outstanding amounts the agency referenced.

The statement added that the agency repeatedly postponed and reversed payment deadlines during prior negotiations and court proceedings, but never actually transferred the funds it promised, according to Allkpop.

THE BOYZ warned that they see the agency's statements as attempts to mislead public opinion and vowed to respond with firm civil and criminal action if what they view as false claims and attacks continue.

The payment dispute is part of a wider legal battle that began when nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, filed for a provisional injunction in February 2026 to suspend the effect of their exclusive contracts with One Hundred Label.

Their legal team argues that the agency has not paid proper settlement earnings for any group activities since July 2025, following the last payment for the second quarter of that year.

The artists also say the company refused multiple requests to provide basic accounting documents and contracts, which they needed to verify how their income was calculated and distributed. Yulchon describes this as a serious breach of contract and a "breakdown of trust" that, in the members' view, cannot be repaired, the Korea Times reported.

Agency Response and Growing Allegations

One Hundred Label has rejected the group's attempt to terminate their contracts and insists it has fulfilled its financial obligations. The company claims any delays in settlement were temporary and says it has either completed or stands ready to complete the payments, including delayed interest.

It has also dismissed embezzlement accusations against CEO Cha Ga-won as false, after THE BOYZ filed a complaint under Korea's Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.

As hearings continue at the Seoul Central District Court, the group's legal team is asking the court to swiftly grant their injunction so the members can carry out activities under stable conditions while the core dispute over money and management is resolved, as per Koreaboo.
