(G)I-DLE's Miyeon has lent her voice for the original soundtrack of the on-going South Korean television show, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed."

On Nov. 26, the OST for the said drama was released on different music platforms. A video was also uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Stone Music Entertainment, which displays scenes from the "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" as (G)I-DLE's Miyeon delivers the song.

Titled "My Destiny," the track sang by Miyeon serves as the OST Part 8 or the final soundtrack of the show. Co-composed and co-written by Dinner Coat, Dong Woo Seok, and Yoo Jung Hyun, it is a soothing ballad that presents the mutual feelings of the two main characters, Lee Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook) and Ah Eum/ Nam Ji Ah (played by Jo Bo Ah).

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" is a fantasy action romance drama that tells the story of a male gumiho (a nine-tailed fox) named Lee Yeon, along with the television producer Nam Ji Ah and his brother Lee Rang (played by Kim Bum). The story focuses on the main characters battling with Imoogi (played by Lee Tae Ri), a serpent beast disguising itself as a human. Also, the drama follows the story of Lee Yeon being able to reunite with his first love Nam Ji Ah after numerous years.

This is not the first time that (G)I-DLE's Miyeon has sung an OST. This year, she participated in another drama's original soundtrack, titled "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol." She sang "We Already Fell In Love" with her fellow member Minnie. The track was released last month.

ABOUT (G)I-DLE's MIYEON

Cho Miyeon is a singer and actress in South Korea. She passed an audition for YG Entertainment and became a trainee for five years. She was supposed to debut as a member of the world-renowned girl group BLACKPINK. However, her debut was prevented from happening as rumors state that she and her fellow YG trainee Jung Jinhyeong were dating. She then left the group and company in 2015.

In 2016, she joined Cube Entertainment and trained for two years until she debuted with (G)I-DLE under the said company in May 2018, together with five more trainees, namely Minnie, Soyeon, Soojin, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Miyeon is the main vocalist and visual of the band. (G)I-DLE released its debut mini-album "I Am," containing six tracks, including the lead single "Latata."

(G)I-DLE's Miyeon, alongside Soyeon, Jair Burns, and Madison Beer, lent her voice for K/DA, a virtual K-Pop girl group. She voiced Ahri, who is also the main vocalist of the group and one of the most popular champions in the League of Legends.

Apart from singing, Miyeon has also established herself as an actress. She just made her acting debut this year with the K-Drama titled "Replay." In the television show, she played the female lead named Yoo Hayoung, a well-known YouTuber and vocalist of a band. The drama is about the dreams and love of 18-year-old individuals when they are still innocent, insecure, and clumsy.
