ENHYPEN Shares Second Video Teaser for Debut Song 'Given-Taken'
BTS's junior boy band ENHYPEN is nearing its debut as they shared another video teaser for their upcoming song.
On Nov. 27 at midnight KST, Big Hit Entertainment has uploaded the second video teaser for "Given-Taken" through its official YouTube channel. "Given-Taken" serves as the title track of ENHYPEN's debut album titled "Border: Day One," which is scheduled to be out on Nov. 30 at 6:00 p.m. KST.
The video begins with the leader Jungwon staring at something in the distance. Soon after, the six members can be seen walking towards him from behind. In the next scene, ENHYPEN members are all in black in the middle of a deserted sandy location as they reveal some of the choreography of their upcoming debut song. The video then highlighted all seven members' unique charms and visuals and ended with the boy group looking at an unknown tower.
The second video teaser is completely different from the first one. The first teaser gives off a vintage and eerie vibe. The clip started with a black-and-white film displayed on the projector - it shows different parts of a home such as a child's room, a dining area, the basement, and the living room. An old house also appeared.
The next part of the teaser showed ENHYPEN in a room with a classic and cozy atmosphere. Member Jay can be seen playing the piano while the others were listening and dancing to it. The video then focused on Jungwon, and suddenly mysterious yet somehow creepy images were presented. It concluded with a hand sliding down a glass.
ENHYPEN's debut album "Border: Day One," tells the story of seven boys who have complex emotions as they stand at the border of two worlds and eventually step into a new world. It consists of six tracks in total, including an intro and outro. It was previously revealed that the mini-album had exceeded 300,000 stock pre-orders, proving that they have captured K-Pop fans' attention.
In other news, Mnet has shared a teaser for ENHYPEN's debut showcase "ENHYPEN DEBUT SHOWCASE: DAY ONE" on Nov. 24 its official YouTube channel. It displays the members inside a spooky chamber as Jake narrates, "Moment to moment, inevitable fate created by organic serendipity. Breaking the mold and taking the first step into the world. Beyond borders, the moment you and I come face to face. ENHYPEN Debut Show, day one. November 30."
WHO IS ENHYPEN?
ENHYPEN was created through "I-LAND," a competition show aired on Mnet from June to September of this year. It was organized by Belift Lab, a media company that was jointly built by Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM. It is made up of seven members, namely Jungwon, Sunghoon, Jay, Heeseung, Jake, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The six members of the group were determined by global ranking, while the producer chose the last member.
The group name "ENHYPEN" was chosen from fans' suggestions during the survival reality program. It means that like a hyphen that connects different words to make new meaning, the members will discover new things and grow together by having connections.
