BLACKPINK Lisa Reveals the Two Places She Wants to Visit in the Philippines
BLACKPINK's Lisa shared the two tourist attractions in the Philippines that she has been wanting to visit in an interview with Penshoppe.
Penshoppe is a clothing brand based in the Philippines, put up in 1986. It is the premier brand of Golden ABC, Inc, a Philippine-based fashion house. It is being worn by some of the world's biggest celebrities and top models, thus becoming the leading international casual wear brand.
BLACKPINK's Lisa is one of the ambassadors of Penshoppe. On Nov. 29, the world-renowned idol sat down for an interview with Penshoppe TV, which is the first episode of the show. During the talk, Lisa was asked numerous questions gathered from the fans, ranging from what makes her happy to what language that she usually thinks or dreams in.
She was also asked to share what places in the Philippines she would like to visit. The fans' question went like this, "If you have the opportunity, do you want to tour the Philippines? And what places in the Philippines do you know and want to visit?"
The BLACKPINK member answered that there are two places in the country where she wishes to go. The first one is none other than the well-known Chocolate Hills in Bohol. She said that she liked how the hills looked as they are in one single area. Lisa also commented on the hills' unique color, saying, "I don't know. It looked like chocolate because the color is not green."
The second place in the Philippines that the singer would like to visit is the province of Sorsogon in the Bicol Region. Lisa said that she wants to go snorkeling and interact with whale sharks. "That's so cool like you can actually swim together. That's really cool, so I really want to visit there," she added.
The idol then unveiled that she has been wanting to swim with the whale sharks since BLACKPINK held their "In Your Area" concert last 2019. Lisa said that she told her manager about it, however, her manager didn't let her since it was hard to go there considering that they have a busy schedule.
The host then commented that maybe next year she'll be able to go with the help of Penshoppe. And Lisa adorably begged, "Penshoppe please, I really want to go swim with shark whales."
BLACKPINK's Lisa has been an endorser of the Philippine-based clothing brand since 2019. Aside from Lisa, many international celebrities have also endorsed Penshoppe, including her labelmate Sandara Park, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Zayn Malik, to name a few.
Meanwhile, Lisa previously served as the dance mentor in "Youth With You Season 2," iQiyi's Chinese girl group survival program that aired from March to May of this year. At present, Lisa and her fellow BLACKPINK members are gearing up for a new project, which they revealed through a video teaser titled "BLACKPINK AROUND THE WORLD" that shows many names of cities across the globe.
