iKON Members Hilariously Share How They Deal with Boredom Amid COVID-19
iKON members were asked what they have been doing to cope with boredom in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and their answers were hilarious yet honest.
On the Christmas special episode of "Vnight from DongDong" called "Merry Konystmas," boy group iKON appeared as guests to talk about an array of interesting topics. During the talk, the members revealed some fun stories while answering questions that were already prepared for them. One of the first questions was connected with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The question was, "Stuck at home more due to the coronavirus, how do you deal with boredom?" iKON's June had a hilarious yet honest answer, which made his fellow members burst into laughter. He said that he cries when he's bored. "That's all I can say," he added while laughing.
After cracking up on June's answer, other iKON members seriously commented on his response to the question. Yunhyeong said that June should cry if crying helps when he's bored, to which Donghyuk agreed. Donghyuk, who was hosting the session, added that crying is okay and then we should get over it. Bobby, on the other hand, demonstrated a person crying while he can't hide his laughter.
iKON's Donghyuk then turned to Chanwoo and asked what he does when he's bored. Member Chanwoo detailed the way he personally handles his boredom during the current COVID-19 pandemic. He shared, "I know a good way. Browse through online shopping sites and purchase something, even if it costs only a few dollars. But waiting for the package helps cheer you up while at home." Donghyuk supported Chanwoo's statement, saying he's right about that.
iKON's Yunhyeong then asked him what he bought recently, and Chanwoo answered that he ordered butter, making member Bobby surprised, and had member Yunhyeong remarking that butter can be purchased at the store. iKON's Chanwoo then clarified that the butter was delivered from the United States.
Donghyuk then joined his members' conversation and said, "You get excited waiting for parcels." Yunhyeong then unexpectedly shared that he also recently purchased something. He revealed that he bought a 10kg weight vest since the gyms are close these days due to the coronavirus.
The discussion became more serious when iKON members were asked what their 2021 plans are. Member Jinhwan went first by saying that he hopes the group can promote a lot and release many albums. Donghyuk added to what his fellow member said and shared some exciting news for iKONICs (iKON's fan club). The idol unveiled that the boy group has already started recording and members are working hard for their comeback.
iKON's upcoming comeback will mark the boy group's first return to the K-pop scene after more or less than a year since their third extended play titled "I Decide," which was launched this past February. Also, it will be iKON's second release as a six-piece band, since former member Kim Hanbin (B.I) left the group and YG Entertainment in June 2019 following his controversy about illegal drugs.
