As 2020 comes to a close, it is time we take a look at all the amazing songs that came out from 2010 to 2019. Famous music critic Sheldon Pearce has named the best K-pop songs to come out of this time period. Keep on reading to see if your favorite K-pop song from this time made the list!

The "Best K-Pop, 2010-19" list was penned by Sheldon Pearce, the first openly deaf rap critic. He is a former music critic, writer, reviewer for the highly acclaimed international entertainment critic outlet Pitchfork, and is now a writer for The New Yorker. In his list, he names a whopping 150 albums as some of the best K-pop songs from the decade.

The number one he selected is "Oh!" by Girls' Generation. The song was released back in 2010. Sheldon Pearce mentions that Girls' Generation set the bar high and no one has jumped it yet, meaning no one has surpassed Girls' Generation's high. Upon the song's release, "Oh!" peaked at number one on various music charts.

"Oh!" also took home numerous music show wins on "Music Bank" and "Inkigayo" The song was placed at #4 on Gaon Chart's "Top 10 Digital Songs of the Year" and was the second best-selling single of 2010. Previously, Monkey3 named "Oh!" as the best single of 2010.
