BTS Jin Named ‘The Most Handsome K-Pop Idol’ for December 2020

In a recent poll conducted by "KPOP VOTE," BTS member Jin garnered a total of 122,294 votes in a poll determining the most handsome K-pop idol in Dec. 2020. Following Jin is fellow BTS member V at second place, and ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo in third place.
Jin's handsome appearance has been praised by fans, BTS, and even himself! With the nickname "Worldwide Handsome," it is no surprise Jin sits so high on the list.
Recently, "The 100" released their "The Most Handsome Faces of K-POP Artist of 2020," and in it, Jin sat at number 19, successfully ranking within the top 20.

Back in June 2020, Jin was selected as the "The World's Most Perfect Male Face According to Science" by Sluis Painting. The creative visual artist's team from the Sluis Paintain workshop selected the top three most perfect faces from hundreds of celebrities from 43 different countries. According to Sluis Painting, Jin's facia proportions perfectly showcase the Golden Ratio in a face. His face is symmetrical and he has the optimal proportions of the mouth, eyes, chin, and forehead.
The female counterpart is American actress Anne Hathaway.
In Jan. 2019, the Czech doll-making firm CzDolic announced BTS member Jin has the "best-sculpted face." A poll was conducted to determine who the best-sculpted face would be. Jin was selected, along with nine others, among 18,000 male faces from 58 countries. The poll garnered more than 1.5 million votes, with Jin receiving more than one million views.
According to the Czech company, Jin's oval featured is balanced symmetrically that he can be filmed from any angle. He was also praised for his beautifully curved mouth.
Back in 2018, a cosmetic surgeon studied 269 Asian male faces. The surgeon, out of all of the faces, selected Jin as the one with the "perfect face". citing that his facial features perfectly aligned with the Golden Ratio of 1:1.618. The width of his face, which is determined by the length between the two ears, is one, while the distance from his hairline to his chin is 1.618. His face was praised as being "fantastic".

Back in Dec. 2020, Jin released the solo song "Abyss" a day before his 28th birthday. The acoustic ballad was composed by Jin alongside fellow BTS member RM and producers BUMZU and Pdogg. Jin also helped co-write the lyrics with RM and BUMZU. The song talks about Jin's feelings of anxiety, doubt, and burnout, as well as his insecurities concerning music.
Prior to "Abyss," Jin released his first solo song in 2019, titled "Tonight." It is also an acoustic ballad and was composed by Jin alongside producers Slow Rabbit and Hiss Noise. The lyrics were written by Jin and fellow BTS member RM. The track is inspired by Jn's relationship with his pets. "Tonight" earned positive praise from critics, who compliments Jin's singing and the calming atmosphere of the track.
