Jang Yoon Jung's Brother Reveals Bank Statement In Effort To Clear Family Name: Appears Again On TV With Mother Claiming They Didn't Bankrupt Star

The mother and brother of semi-trot singer Jang Yoon Jung once again appeared on South Korean television on Thursday, to deny the star's claims earlier this month that they drove her into bankruptcy by mismanaging her money.

Jang Yoon Jung's brother Jang Kyung Young even brought along a chart allegedly reflecting his bank statements for the last decade, in an attempt to prove his family's innocence.

"After this [scandal over whether the family stole Jang Yoon Jung's earnings] happened, I tried to organize all of the content about our possessions," Jang Kyung Young said.

"It is true that I received help from my sister for my business but I have kept my obligations for all this time."

He then proceeded to walk host of "Cutting the Gordian Knot" Park Jong Jin through his financial dealings with his sister, one month at a time.

"About 7.3 million dollars was put into real estate, my sister's management, family living expenses and business investments through all this time," Jang Kyung Young  said, displaying a notarized security deposit of $500,000, according to the website Soompi.

"I didn't invest in a start-up company but an existing company, which is how I started my business."

The singer's brother also revealed his bank statement, which reportedly showed him transferring $3,000 every month into Jang Yoon Jung's account as repayment.

Jang Kyung Young said he attempted to repair the rift with his sister, meeting with her money managers, but to no avail.

"After misunderstandings about money started between my sister and I, I met up with my sister, her agency's people and relatives as well as the asset management team and checked the facts," he said.

"There were no problems and it was confirmed that I didn't squander her money but my sister packed her stuff and left the house afterwards."

The singer's mother Yook Heung Bok added that Jang Yoon Jung never made as much money as everyone thinks.

"Many people think of my daughter as the queen of events and think she makes a lot of money," Yook said.

"But one event brings in about $5,500. Since her debut, her earnings have been split 50/50 between the agency and her family. But because we believed in the agency CEO, I never questioned why the amount we were supposed to receive and the amount we actually did receive were different."

Jang Yoon Jung first made the allegations that her family had mishandled her finances on the May 20 episode of the program "Healing Camp."

"I lost all of the money that I made and I currently have debt in the hundreds of thousands of dollars," she said.

"I gave all of the money I made after my debut to my parents but after my parents got divorced, I was going through my 10 years worth of savings and discovered that it all disappeared and the only thing I had left were debts."
