International Filipina Musical Actress Lea Salonga Has The Most Adorable Interaction With EPIK HIGH Tablo

Lea Salonga recently shared a tweet concerning EPIK HIGH's music and member Tablo has the most adorable reaction.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Lea Salonga shared a tweet and revealed that she just recently discovered EPIK HIGH after being recommended to listen to them. She wonders "where on earth" has she been and praises their music as "fantastic." In her tweet, she tags members Tablo and Mithra Jin, as well as including a hashtag for member DJ Tukutz.

Less than an hour later, Tablo quote-tweeted Lea Salonga's tweet, showing off how excited he was to be recognized by her. Tablo reveals he has been a lifelong fan of the idol and even jokes in Korea that he has made it now that Lea Salonga has noticed it! He also included the words "Who is that girl I see?" in his tweet, referring to Lea Salonga's role as the singing voice of Fa Mulan in Disney's animated film "Mulan."

The Korean parts of his tweet reads:

This is not the first time Lea Salonga has shown love for K-pop. On Monday, Jan. 18, the critically acclaimed musical actress shared a tweet, praising BTS members as "perfect". In her tweet, she uses V's real name, Taehyung, and includes a purple heart. V is the member that coined the phrase "I purple you" and is now used by BTS and ARMYs to say "I love you". The purple heart has since become a huge part of ARMY culture.

Lea Salonga revealed BTS's V was her BTS bias in Sept. 2020 through a Facebook post. In her post, she links a YouTube video for BTS during their "American Hustle Life" days and shows the scene where Iris Stevenson - an academic mentor and the choir consultant for the musical film "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" - praises V's voice and calling it soulful. He also said that people feel something when he sings. Lea Salonga praised V's vocals and revealed she was told something similar by her vocal mentor, Mary, while she was preparing for the role of Kim is "Miss Saigon".

On Dec. 30, 2020, Lea Salonga tweeted a sweet letter to V for his birthday. She compared his voice to a cup of hot chocolate during a blizzard and to a warm hug at the end of a really bad day. In the tweet, she thanks V for his music, his laughter, his way of thinking, the love he has for his members, family, fans, and his honesty, candor, and sincerity.

EPIK HIGH recently made a comeback with "Epik High is Here". It was released on Monday, Jan. 18, and is part 1 of their tenth album. The album made headlines due to its star-studded collaboration line-up, such as CL and B.I, who were both former labelmates with EPIK HIGH. Alongside the release of "Epik High is Here", they released music videos for the songs "Rosario" and "Based on a True Story".
