On Thursday, Jan. 21, Yunho guested on the YouTube channel "MMTG", an online show by SBS. During his time on the program, Yunho recalled numerous stories from his debut era until the release of his most recent extended play "Noir", which was released on Jan 18 with the title track "Thank U".

He made many laugh when he began discussing the topic of "U-Know Yunho on stage." There, he revealed his honest feelings about promoting "Tri-Angle" and the concept. He revealed that to this day, he still does not understand the concept's styling and hairstyle. Yunho debuted as a member of TVXQ with "Tri-Angle", which was released on Oct. 11, 2004. The group had a rocker concept and featured the members in all-dark clothing and avant-garde hairstyles.

Soon, the MC, Jaejae, brought up a photo of Red Velvet performing at a military base and Yunho glaring at them intensely as they performed. At the time, Red Velvet was invited to perform for the military soldiers who were serving at the base and had even performed TVXQ's "Mirotic," which is considered the boy group's representative song. People were surprised when Yunho was caught watching the girl with a serious, stoic expression, and even made headlines for it!

Jaejae decided to get to the bottom of why Yunho was looking at Red Velvet in such a way. She asked Yunho, "Why were you staring at Red Velvet as if you were their dance teacher?" Yunho then revealed that though his stare appeared mean and harsh, it was actually a gaze of yearning.

He then revealed that at the time he was watching Red Velvet, he had started longing for the stage. He told Jaejae, "When I was watching Red Velvet's performance, I started thinking, 'I want to perform on the stage as quickly as possible too.' I felt really thankful for the girl for coming to perform. I felt numerous different emotions but I was extremely thankful to the Red Velvet girls."
