NCSoft, Klap's Much-Awaited UNIVERSE Officially Launches on 134 Countries
Korean tech giant NCSoft Co., Ltd, through its entertainment arm Klap Co. Ltd, has officially launched the highly-anticipated K-Pop fan interaction platform UNIVERSE across 134 countries worldwide.
UNIVERSE boasts a wide range of online and offline services, serving as an all-in-one platform for all fandoms to enjoy exclusive content and bond with their favorite artists. True to its motto of "For Fans, With Artists," the new online platform from NCSoft and Klap promises content and experience with their idols not available elsewhere. Aside from the idols who already have their own PLANET within the expanding K-Pop platform, NCSoft also uses its latest IT technology to further create exclusive features fans around the world can enjoy.
For its original music, it has already launched its own series "UNIVERSE Music" which was kickstarted with the release of the digital single and music video for IZ*ONE's "D-D-Dance" last January 26 and 28, respectively. Also in terms of original content, Kang Daniel and MONSTA X spearhead the exclusive content each with their own series for "UNIVERSE Original," where all eleven artists currently on the platform will each have their original series for fans to follow and enjoy.
As for fans, UNIVERSE also arrives with a number of fan-oriented activities such as Media, where exclusive content such as those from Music and Originals are available, plus photoshoots and radio interviews. It also has a Fan Network Service (FNS) that offers a space for fans and their beloved idols to communicate with each other. The FNS is home to the Content Creator feature allows both fans and artists to produce and share their own created content with each other. With the FNS, artists can share an exclusive first peek of their current projects or simply share a slice of their day with their fans.
Even after surpassing more than four million pre-registrations ahead of its official release, the UNIVERSE app remains open for interested fans to join. The official app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store for Android devices and the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
