BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE & More: Most Streamed K-Pop Artists On Spotify Revealed

K-Pop artists continue to saturate the international music scene by releasing impressive tracks one after another. Recently, Spotify revealed the names of the Most Streamed Korean Artist as of Feb. 3, 2021. Below is the complete list:

BTS

As expected, BTS dominated the list with more than 21 million streams as of this writing. The group, which is composed of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V, and RM, has been making it to various music charts around the world with their popular tracks such as "Life Goes On" and the long-charting song titled "Dynamite."

BLACKPINK

Coming in second place is BLACKPINK with 7.48 million streams as of late. The group, which is comprised of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé, has been making waves in numerous music streaming sites with their songs such as "Lovesick Girls," "How You Like That" and "Ice Cream."

TWICE

TWICE followed BLACKPINK and BTS in the third spot. To recall, the group released the "Eyes Wide Open" album in 2020, which include their hit tracks "I Can't Stop Me," "Up nO More," "Do What We Like," "Handle It," "Queen" and "Go Hard" among others. The JYP-formed all-girl unit is composed of Sana, Jeongyeon, Momo, Tzuyu, Jihyo, Mina, Nayeon, Dahyun and Chaeyoung.

Stray Kids

Stray Kids made it to the fourth rank after the release of the "ALL IN" mini-album - their first-ever Japanese mini-album -- in November 2020. The said EP is composed of seven songs including "FAM," "One Day," TOP" and "ALL IN" among others. Songs of the group, which is composed of Hyunjin, Felix, Bang Chan, I.N, Han, Lee Know, Changbin and Seugmin, were streamed 2.19 million times on the music streaming platform.

IU

South Korean singer-songwriter IU also made it to the list with more than 2.17 million streams on Spotify. The songstress gracefully made her comeback to the music scene by dropping her hit single called "Eight," which also served as her first collaboration with BTS member Suga. She, then, launched a follow-up track titled "Celebrity," which was released in early 2011. Both songs peaked at No. 1 on the Gaon Music Chart.

SEVENTEEN

The Pledis Entertainment-formed group was announced as part of Spotify's Most Streamed Korean Artist list at No. 6 with 1.74 million streams. SEVENTEEN, which is comprised of Yoo Jeonghan, Kim Mingyu, Wonwoo, Hoshi, Vernon, DK, Wen Junhui, Woozi, Joshua Hong, Dino, S.Coups, Xu Minghao, and Seungkwan, made their comeback in 2020 with the "SEMICOLON" album, which came after the release of their seventh mini-album titled "Heng:garae."

The South Korean all-girl group made it to the Most Streamed Korean Artist list of Spotify at No.7 with more than 1.67 million streams. (G)I-DLE released their fourth mini-album titled "I Burn" in January. The latest EP of Jeon So Yeon, Cho Mi Yeon, Minnie, Seo Soo Jin, Yeh Shu Hua, and Song Yuqi includes self-produced and self-written tracks with "HWAA" being its lead single.

Other K-pop acts that made it to the list are Red Velvet at No. 8 with 1.46 million streams, TOMORROW X TOGETHER at No. 9 with 1.4 million streams, and EXO with 1.34 million streams.
