SHINee Drops More Details About Title Track 'Don't Call Me' + Hints at Group's New Era

SHINee is set to enter a new era with a hip-hop based dance track, "Don't Call Me," this February! Are you ready for the return of the "Princes of K-pop"? Read on for more details!

On Feb. 8, Monday, SM Entertainment confirmed that SHINee will make a splendid comeback with their seventh full album, "Don't Call Me," along their title track with the same name.

On the same day, a preview containing the message and genre of the song was also unveiled, increasing the anticipation of K-pop fans around the world, especially Shawols (fandom of SHINee).

After about three years since their break since their last release, SHINee is finally back with a new album, which will be released on various music sites at 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 22.

According to reports, the album comprises a total of nine songs of various genres, including the title song of the same name. In fact, during the live broadcast of the group, "The Ringtone: SHINee is back," on January 31, they teased fans with a pre-release track, "Marry You," boasting the vocals and perfect harmonization of the members for their first-ever comeback stage.

 Meanwhile, more details about their album were dropped earlier, highlighting their title track. In particular, the title song "Don't Call Me" is an impressive hip-hop-based dance song with a strong warning message that emphasizes to don't call the main character after being betrayed by love.

 It is also expected to hear the outstanding vocals of SHINee, expressing "hysterical" emotions that will make listeners more immersed in the song. SM Entertainment added that the track means not to define SHINee with a stereotyped look compared to any idol group.

Thus, K-pop enthusiasts will surely meet another color of SHINee as they enter a new music era, and the group will surely not disappoint given how they amazed the music world with their trendy and fresh performances on every album. Meanwhile, on the previous broadcasts of SHINee and its members, the maknae and dubbed as the "Spoiler King" of the group, shared that they have been preparing and working hard for their comeback.

According to the members, fans are to expect a new SHINee, in terms of music genre, outfits, concepts, look, etc.

 

On Feb. 5, SHINee the 7th Album, "Don't Call Me," time table was released, showing an intriguing black and white poster that contains eye-catching phrase hints such as "the flying saucers over the area 7," "Any resemblance to actual person or event is purely coincidental," "the number you have called has been disconnected," and many more.

On the other hand, prior to their return on Feb. 22, members Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin will appear on the 268th episode of "Knowing Bros" on Feb. 20.
