BTS Breaks New Records with 'Dynamite' & 'Map of the Soul: 7' on Billboard Charts + See Latest Rankings

BTS is the boyband to beat when it comes to popularity and trending music. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM and V have, undeniably, captured the hearts of many through their exemplary songs and stunning visuals. So, it comes as no surprise that some of their tracks continue to make waves in various music streaming sites and charts.

BTS Reaches New Milestone on Billboard with "Dynamite"

BTS continues to break records after records with their impressive tracks. As a matter of fact, BTS has achieved another feat with their song title "Dynamite."

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, Billboard released the latest lists of songs that made it to the top this week. "Dynamite" by BTS nabbed the No. 2 spot on the most recent Billboard Global Excluding United States Chart. "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo was able to retain its status on the No. 1 spot this week.

The Weeknd reappeared on the list with his record-breaking song called "Blinding Lights," followed by "Dakiti" by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez at No. 4. "Mood" by 24kGolden and iann dior got the No. 5 spot while "Save Your Tears" by The Weeknd made it to No. 6. Other songs that wrapped up the Top 10 include "Bandido" by Myke Towers and Juhn at No. 7, "Bichota" by Karol G at No. 8, "The Business" by Tiesto at No. 9 and "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and Dababy at No. 10.

In the Billboard Global 200 Chart, on the other hand, "Dynamite" by BTS ranked at No. 3 this week. "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo took the No. 1 spot again while "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd followed at No. 2. "Dakiti" by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez was listed at No. 4 and "Mood" by 24kGoldn and iann dior appeared at No. 6. Other tracks that made it to the Top 10 were "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and DaBaby, "Streets" by Doja Cat, "Good Days" by SZA and "34+35" by Ariana Grande.

BTS Breaks Another Record with "Map of the Soul: 7"

Meanwhile, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM and V is set to break another record with the "Map of the Soul: 7" album. According to Billboard, the BTS EP has already spent 50 weeks on the Billboard 200 Chart.

As of this writing, "Map of the Soul: 7" is listed at No. 156. In other words, the BTS album needs only two or three weeks to spend one whole year in the Billboard 200 Chart, which is another first in the K-Pop industry should things go on the right direction.

Most, if not all, fans can recall that "Map of the Soul: 7" is the first album BTS released in 2020, which featured the works of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM and V with other international artists like Sia, Troye Sivan, Ed Sheeran and Halsey. It was a follow-up of their "Map of the Soul: Persona" album that was dropped in 2019.
