What is the 2021 Pantone color styling that Korean stars have chosen? Take a look at these celebrities who've shown incredible outfits inspired by this year's Pantone color, flaunting their perfect fashion tastes!
On Feb. 9, Korean magazine, Star1 featured various Korean stars and K-pop idols, who perfectly digested the Pantone colors on their #OOTDs ahead of other celebrities!
According to the column, Pantone color institute selected Ultimate Gray and Illuminating (bright Yellow) as the hues that will influence color trends globally.
The reason why the colors were selected is for the reason that yellow, which radiates hope and positivity, matches Ultimate Gray, which means tranquility and stability. Following the crisis, the world faced in 2020 due to the pandemic, the colors symbolize hope for a brighter future this 2021.
Aside from its significant meaning, Pantone colors are often used as color trends for beauty and fashion. Thus, Star1 featured and reviewed some of the Hallyu Stars that showcased and slayed Pantone color-inspired attires.

BTS Jungkook and RM, WJSN Eunseo and Jaehwan: See their Pantone Color of the Year-Inspired Fashion Ensembles
Among the Korean stars mentioned by the magazine, BTS Jungkook shone with his short-length gray suit.
According to Star1, "The dark gray jacket emphasizes trendy charm more than classic moods. It is a fashion that further maximizes the merits of Jungkook, who has exceptionally long legs and shows perfect proportions. On top of that, the black-tie and pants make the chic atmosphere stand out."
Furthermore, his clothes also complemented his perfect visual along with his stylish long hair, such a sexy and manly "maknae" Jungkook!
In the list, BTS J-Hope was also praised for his witty and eye-catching ensemble. J-Hope, who show off a boxy fit mustang, khaki jogger pants, and vintage bucket hat, added an illuminating touch through his sneakers.
Surely, yellow is not for all, but J-Hope proves that anyone can slay both colors with a witty mix and match! Can we just say J-Hope is a fashion genius?
Next, WJSN Eunseo's outfit is the contrast of J-Hope's attire. While the male idol used yellow minimally, the female idol flashed a dark-forsythia duffle coat, combining bootcut denim.
Eunseo exuded a cute and bright appearance, a good representation of spring fashion.
Lastly, Kim Jaehwan, A former WANNA ONE member showed his cute fashion as much as his lovely expression.
Similar to Eunseo, Jaehwan gave off the spring vibe with his gray duffle coat, but instead of closing the buttons, he let his yellow hoodie blend with his ensemble. For the final touch, the solo singer wore plain white sneakers and ripped jeans, showing a free vibe.
