Red Velvet Irene's x Shin Seung Ho's upcoming movie "Double Patty" is already dominating CGV's Movie reservation rate prior to its release!

On Feb. 15, Monday, kth announced that "Double Patty" sits atop CGV Movie Chart with most reservations among upcoming movies!

"Double Patty," starring Bae Joo Hyun, or prominently known as Red Velvet Irene beat the reservation rate for upcoming Korean films, "Mission Possible" starting Kim Young Kwang and Sunbin, "Black Light," and many more, which are also set to be released this February.

Actor Shin Seung Ho and Irene ranked No. 1 in the movie reservation rate scheduled to be released on CGV Movie Chart.

"Double Patty" is a story that gives strength and comfort to each other after a hard day through sharing warm food and words of comfort, focusing on the story of the wresting prospect Wooram (Shin Seung Ho) and aspiring anchor Hyun Ji (Bae Joo Hyun).

On the TMI video released on the same day, Irene shared trivia about her role, saying, "I play the role of Hyun Ji, an anchor aspirant who doesn’t give up on her dreams even in difficult times. I prepared hard for this role by taking lessons from a professional announcer. You will be able to meet a new side of me."

Meanwhile, this achievement is a sign that several viewers, particularly K-pop enthusiasts, are anticipating "Double Patty," which will be released on May 17.

Aside from this will showcase the acting prowess of Irene as actress Bae Joo Hyun; the message of the film is also timely for those people who are losing courage and will to continue their dreams due to obstacles, such as this pandemic.

"Double Patty" aims to send a message of encouragement to those who have not let go of their passion for their dreams even in tough situations. Red Velvet Irene Releases "A White Night" OST for "Double Patty"

On the flip side, Irene's special OST for the movie titled "A White Night" was finally dropped on Feb. 14. As soon as it was dropped on various music outlets, the track immediately rose to No.1 in iTunes, particularly in Qatar and Singapore, and later on topped the Philippines, Malaysia, and other Asian countries as well.

"A White Night" is a waltz song that expresses the elegance of youth. Irene's sweet voice is expected to add colors to the scene where the main characters of the movie will meet for the first time.
