Will SZA Become The Next Collaboration With Girl Group BLACKPINK After Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, and more

A post shared by instagram

It became a big buzz from the netizens that SZA has BLACKPINK along with big stars as Stevie Wonder, Rosalia, and Bad Bunny. Will this become a hint that SZA will finally collaborate with Blackpink soon?

Lady Gaga, who made a release with "Stupid Love" on February 28, collaborated with BLACKPINK in a song called “Sour Candy.” It was released for digital download and streaming on May 28, 2020, as a promotional single off Lady Gaga's sixth studio album, "Chromatica." Originally, the collaboration track with Ariana Grande was almost confirmed through Instagram photos, but as Lady Gaga's album producer "Blood Pop" followed BLACKPINK's Instagram account, the news of BLACKPINK and collaboration with BLACKPINK was heard frequently.

This became BLACKPINK’s second collaboration with overseas artists since "Kiss and Makeup" along with Dua Lipa.

Aside from that, “Ice Cream,” in collaboration with Selena Gomez, was released as the second pre-released single of BLACKPINK’s “The Album,” following the trap-pop title track “How You Like That.”

This became a hip music video where Selena Gomez and the members of BLACKPINK hang out in a pastel-colored world, driving an ice cream truck and having fun in a set.

This has reached wide achievements, one of which, “Ice Cream,” is tied for 3rd as the longest-charting song by a Korean girl group in the U.K. It also debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it became BLACKPINK'S 8th music video to reach 500 million views.
