BLACKPINK Rosé Drops New Teaser Photo + Album Details ahead of Solo Debut

BLINKs have been patiently waiting for the official solo debut of BLACKPINK member Rosé.

On Wednesday, March 3, the South Korean singer-songwriter unveiled a new teaser photo for her upcoming first single album titled "-R-."

BLACKPINK Rosé Releases New Teaser Poster

Avid followers of BLACKPINK member Rosé were delighted anew after seeing the new teaser poster of the songstress ahead of her upcoming solo debut. The photo seemed to reveal the official release of the "GONE" singer's first single album, which is on March 12 at 2:00 p.m. KST.

The poster swiftly made rounds online. As of this writing, the snap, which was uploaded on the official Twitter account of YG Entertainment, already got more than 48,000 likes and more than 2,500 comments. It is also retweeted more than 26,300 times already.

On Monday, BLACKPINK Rosé also shared two teaser photos on her official Instagram account. The first photo featured the co-member of Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo donning a purple dress as she poses for the camera. The second snap, on the other hand, showed the "Lovesick Girls" hitmaker in a pink dress with a mix of orange and red clouds in the background.

  The first batch of teaser photos that BLACKPINK member Rose shared to her devoted supporters garnered more than 7 million likes combined. The "Ice Cream" singer even received the support of some of her industry pals such as DJ Snake among others.

Fans can recall that Rosé performed her first-ever solo track during the group's first virtual concert titled "THE SHOW." YG Entertainment previously revealed that the the BLACKPINK member has already completed filming the official music video of her solo album's title track in mid-January.

The agency even disclosed, at the time, that the forthcoming "GONE" music video was an across-the-board production with an unmatched budget. Because of these revelations, the anticipation for the official solo debut of BLACKPINK Rosé continues to grow each passing day.

BLACKPINK Remains the Most Followed Female Group on Spotify

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has continued reaping the fruits of their hard work as they continue to break records after records. As a matter of fact, it was reported that the quartet is currently the most followed female group on Spotify. In the last 24 hours alone, the group has garnered a total of 30,093 new followers.

If that is not enough, "How You Like That" remains the only song by a female group in the Top 200 Global chart of Spotify. On Tuesday, March 2, alone, the popular BLACKPINK track amassed more than 741,000 streams.

The "Lovesick Girls" song, on the other hand, was pronounced as the second track by a female act to ever spend 150 days in the MelOn Top 10 Daily Chart. So far, "Dynamite" by BTS remains undefeated for its record of 194 weeks on the said tally.

The upcoming new track of BLACKPINK member Rosé is expected to break records as well and is likely to enter numerous music charts worldwide. For now, devoted followers of the singer need to get ready as she is set to make huge waves on various platforms!
