On Mar. 6, a photo of a female idol smiling with her mouth covered with one hand was released to an online community forum, and it received a lot of hot attention from netizens. Why? Because people had no idea who the idol in question was!
Though many female idols were named, there were three prominent names that were constantly mentioned; and that is Joy of Red Velvet, Jung Chaeyeon of DIA, and Kim Minju of IZ*ONE. The woman, who is seen laughing as she covers part of her small face with her hand, boasts a gorgeous half-moon eye smile, something all three female idols are known for.

The idol in the photo also boasts flawless skin and a narrow nose, which can be easily noticed despite how she is covering half of her face. Many people were even more confused over the identity of the idol due to her long, dark brown hair and small face, another feature all three idols have.

Who is the Mystery Girl in the Photo?
After digging and digging, fans were finally able to deduce who the girl in the photo it.
It is none other than Red Velvet's Joy! The photo is a screenshot from Joy's time in the MBC show "We Got Married" back in 2016. Netizens who saw the photo expressed their shock after discovering it was Joy, noting that the angle shows just how similar the three idols looked to each other.

She was the only artist nominated for the award that has not had an official solo debut. Joy was nominated for her solo OST "Introduce Me A Good Person," which was included in the soundtrack for tvN's "Hospital Playlist," which was released on Mar. 2020. The song peaked at number one on multiple domestic charts and at number six on the Gaon Digital Chart. It also peaked at number five on the Billboard Korea's K-Pop Hot 100 chart.
