What Will BLACKPINK Rosé Perform on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"?
On March 10, YG Entertainment shared which among her two songs Rosé will deliver on the American late-night talk show. Fans can expect a remarkable performance of her solo track "On the Ground" from her upcoming solo debut album "-R-," which is set for release on Friday, March 12. Given the ongoing pandemic situation, Rosé's performance would be most likely pre-recorded. Not only does her appearance on the show make her the first K-pop soloist to do so, but it is also a major step for her to be known as a talented solo artist apart from being BLACKPINK's main vocalist.
In addition, it will be the second time that Rosé will perform on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," and her first time as a solo artist. BLACKPINK appeared on the program as a group in June last year. At that time, the K-pop girl group premiered their song "How You Like That" and also took on the "Try Not to Laugh" challenge with Jimmy Fallon.
