LABOUM's 2016 song "Journey to Atlantis" has seen constant support among Korean listeners as the track remains one of the most-searched songs on music charts in the country, claiming high positions on the charts' search trends.

LABOUM is a girl group made up of five members, namely Yujeong, ZN, Solbin, Soyeon, and Haein. Initially a six-member band, Yulhee terminated her contract with NH Media in 2017. The female act debuted in August 2014 and has been making a comeback until today.

Recently, their song "Journey to Atlantis" (also known as "Fresh Adventure"), which was released back in April 2016, has been going viral in Korea after a compilation of the group performing the song was uploaded to a certain YouTube channel. This situation is quite similar to what happened to Brave Girls' "Rollin'," which has now eventually achieved great popularity.

LABOUM's "Journey to Atlantis" Remains on High Ranks of Music Charts' Search Trends

On Friday, March 19, NH Media shared that LABOUM's "Journey to Atlantis" has steadily settled on the "BEST 3" search trends of Korean music charts after the song garnered attention on March 17. The song often re-enters music charts around this time of year because of its fresh, spring-like vibes. However, on March 17, it rose higher than usual as it managed to make it to the top 400 on MelOn.

In addition, LABOUM's "Journey to Atlantis," as well as "Shooting Love," re-entered the Bugs Top 100 chart. "Journey to Atlantis," alongside "AALOW AALOW," even ranked on the Bugs real-time chart once again after years.

With the song staying on the "BEST 3" search trends of music charts in Korea, LABOUM's "Journey to Atlantis" may also see a sudden resurgence after almost five years since its release in 2016.

In addition to this, the fan-edited video of LABOUM's performances of "Journey to Atlantis" is about to reach one million views after two weeks since it was uploaded to YouTube on March 6. In the comment section of the video, fans expressed their hopes that this fan-edited video will give LABOUM more attention, just like what Brave Girls has been receiving recently.

LABOUM's Previous Releases

Meanwhile, LABOUM remains active in the entertainment industry. In fact, the girl group released new songs last year. In August 2020, the quintet collaborated with Chinese children's franchise BabyBus for a song titled "Smile Pop Pop." The music video for the track was uploaded to the "SUPER SOUND Bugs" YouTube channel on Sept. 3.

LABOUM also released the digital single "Cheese" on Dec. 24. The song was penned and composed by member Soyeon and is described as a medium-tempo R&B track. This song serves as a special present of the girl group to the fans as it has already been a year at that time that the girls made their last comeback.

Also, in September last year, the group's management agency announced that LABOUM would be making a comeback with a mini-album in October, although LABOUM didn't release one as scheduled.
