BLACKPINK Rosé Dominates Global YouTube Song Chart + Beats Jennie in Latest Brand-Value Ranking

BLACKPINK member Rosé continues to make records with her first-ever solo album titled "-R-." On Sunday, March 21, it was revealed that the first solo single of Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo' co-member has made another major feat on YouTube. Keep on reading to know more about Rosé most recent milestone.

BLACKPINK Rosé Tops Global YouTube Song Chart

YouTube confirmed that BLACKPINK member Rosé dominated the Global YouTube Song Chart with her record-breaking song called "On the Ground." It was reported that the said track dominated the tally and ranked at No. 1 from March 12 to March 18.

Moreover, the official music video of Rose's "On the Ground" song remains the most popular and most-watched clip on the said video streaming website this week. As of this writing, the said video already garnered more than 106 million views with, approximately, 7.2 million likes and more than 1.5 million comments.

"On the Ground" by BLACKPINK Rosé has also been doing very well in other major music charts in South Korea. The song, as a matter of fact, is currently at No. 2 on Bugs, No. 3 on MelOn and Vibe, and No. 4 on Genie.

In an interview with MTV, Rosé revealed it took her years to prepare for her first solo album and that the first time she ever recorded a song about her solo was three years ago. The BLACKPINK member said that she had recorded numerous songs, adding that it took a long journey to get where she is currently at.

The 25-year-old South Korean singer said that the "On the Ground" music video is a collage representation of her as it ultimately focused on her. BLACKPINK member Rosé said that the director really tried to portray a timeline of herself, highlighting the past and present version of herself.

Rosé, also, said she wants to let her fans know that she is not different to anyone else and that she also goes through some hardships at times. The BLACKPINK member added she is just as human as everybody else, adding that can relate to a lot of things that everybody is experiencing during these trying times.

Rosé is the second BLACKPINK member to have a solo debut. To recall, Jennie has a solo debut in November 2018. Lisa, on the other hand, is said to release her first solo single before 2021 ends.

BLACKPINK Rosé Dominates Brand-Value Chart in March

Meanwhile, Rosé reigned supreme on the brand-value rankings chart for girl group members in March. The BLACKPINK member nabbed the top spot from Jennie, who dominated the chart last month.

Reports have it that BLACKPINK Rosé garnered a total of 6,433,970 brand reputation index, which is around a 100.30% increase from the February tally. Among the highest-ranking keywords in the "GONE" singer's keyword analysis are "debut," "release," "record," "On the Ground," "solo" and "YouTube."

As for the positive-negative analysis, it was revealed that the total number of positive reactions was at 80.49%. This is the first time that BLACKPINK member Rosé dominated the personal brand chart since she was launched as a member of the world's biggest all-female group in 2016.
