WJSN Samples Their New Mini-Album With the 'Unnatural' Highlight Medley
Teasing fans everywhere with the variety of songs in their new album, WJSN released a highlight medley for "Unnatural."
The highlight medley, which runs for close to two minutes, features the six tracks appearing in the ninth mini-album. Opening with the interesting new icon for "Unnatural," the highlight medley features the visuals of the group's members - Bona, Yeoreum, Dawon, Dayoung, Exy, Luda, Soobin, Yeonjung, Eunseo, and Seola - with the pictures from the first set of their concept photos.
Samples of all six tracks can be heard in the medley as the concept photos are displayed, plus the details on the songwriting, composition, and arrangement. Starting with the title track "Unnatural," followed by "Last Dance," "Super Moon," "New Me," "YALLA," and "Don't Forget (My Universe)." Additionally, a previously unreleased group photo from the first version is used at the end of the highlight medley.
"Unnatural" is a song that describes a girl's experience of how everything takes an awkward turn in the presence of that special someone. With the WJSN vocals woven with lively and upbeat rhythm that makes the song an energetic and fun song to listen to.
With "Last Dance," the melody has strong pop melodies that make the experience of ending a relationship both a memorable experience yet an exciting signal for the things to come. Different musical elements are used in the rest of the highlight medley - teasing "Super Moon," "New Me," "YALLA," and "Don't Forget (My Universe)."
As previously mentioned in the tracklist reveal, and noted in the details for the "Unnatural" highlight medley, WJSN members Exy and Seola also worked as songwriters and composers for some of the songs in the album. This continues their contributions from the previous eighth mini-album "Neverland." Additionally, the Starship Entertainment girl group has worked with other producers and hitmakers in the K-Pop scene such as Chris Wahle, MosPick, MAKECAKE36, KZ, and more to create "Unnatural."
