EXO Chanyeol's shaved head appearance for his mandatory military enlistment is finally revealed!

On April 8, EXO Chanyeol's shaved head appearance was finally revealed to fans in EXO's official fan community Lysn Bubble.

In the photos that were uploaded, EXO members Sehun, Kai, D.O., Xiumin and Baekhyun can be seen smiling and surrounding Chanyeol who was a few days away from enlisting at the time the photo was taken.

Chanyeol, who was sporting a beanie, eventually took it off and showed off his shaved head for the first time. The other EXO members took this opportunity to touch and feel the "SSFW" singer's head.

Chanyeol, the fifth EXO member to enlist, began fulfilling his mandatory military duties on March 29 as an active duty soldier, and is estimated to be discharged sometime in September 2022 after 18 months of service.

EXO Chanyeol Returns from His Four-Month Hiatus

In October 2020, Chanyeol was embroiled in a controversy after an anonymous writer who claimed to be the EXO member's ex-girlfriend posted a letter detailing how Chanyeol cheated on her during their three-year relationship.

In the letter posted by the alleged ex-girlfriend, she accuses Chanyeol cheated on her with more than ten girls during the course of their secret relationship which lasted for three years.

According to her, Chanyeol cheated on her with girl group members, Youtubers, dancers, flight attendants and more. The ex-girlfriend had also posted pictures of her with the EXO member as proof of her allegations.

Amidst the accusations, SM Entertainment or Chanyeol did not release any official statement addressing the matter, leaving many to believe the accusations are true. Subsequently, Chanyeol took a hiatus from social media.

After four months of hiatus, Chanyeol returns to Lysn Bubble with a letter to EXO-Ls.

In the letter, he apologizes to fans for causing them so much concern and thanked them for waiting for him. He expresses his gratitude for fans' continuous support all throughout the years and will do his best to show them that believing in him will not be in vain.

However, his return to social media was not widely accepted by Korean netizens as compared to international fans. Many have called him shameless and were immensely disappointed in him, saying that they can't see him the same way again now that his image was tarnished.
