A new variety show is on the way - and it is jam packed with idols from the second generation groups all the way to the fourth.

EXO Kai, IZ*ONE Yena, SEVENTEEN Seungkwan are the Idol Cast of 'Idol Dictation Contest'

TVING's original variety show "Idol Dictation Contest" is an idol version spin-off of the popular variety show, "Amazing Saturday." The show will revolve around the idol cast playing games to win food from markets around the country and will have a similar format to that of its predecessor - but with an idol twist!

"Idol Dictation Contest" will feature an amazing lineup of popular idols in the music industry. In addition, the show will feature the host of "Amazing Saturday," Boom, who will also be hosting the spin-off.

The show announced that the idol lineup is: Super Junior's Eunhyuk, VIXX's Ravi, EXO's Kai, Lovelyz' Mijoo, Golden Child's Jangjun, SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan, IZ*ONE's Choi Yena, Comedian "idol" Lee Jin Ho and host "idol" Jaejae.

Eunhyuk, who is a member of the legendary K-pop group Super Junior, will show off his excellent sense of entertainment, while EXO's Kai is anticipated to have a variety of potentials when it comes to entertainment, especially with his amazing visuals that will surely leave fans excited.

It is anticipated that SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan, who is known for his powerful vocals and talking skills, will be able to showcase his skills during the show and will make the "Idol Dictation Contest" even more fun.

Attention is also being drawn to Golden Child's Jangjun, with fans anticipating what kind of variety show skills he will show. Likewise with IZ*ONE's Choi Yena, who was able to make a guest appearance in episode 146 of "Amazing Saturday," and will continue to show her uniqueness and charms.

Fans are also eagerly anticipating Lovelyz' Mijoo's appearance on the show as she is known to have lots of energy in her and is very laid back and quite a comedian herself.

'Idol Dictation Contest' Producer Comments on Cast After First Recording

According to the show's producer, Lee Tae Gyeong, they were able to finish the recording of the first episode with a lot of excitement. He revealed that Eunhyuk, who is the eldest cast, showed a sense of responsibility throughout the filming.

Kai and Ravi were very motivated throughout the show and even showed off some fun rivalry. While Jaejae and Seungkwan were able to keep a good flow among the cast, even poking fun at the production crew, which made the set more lively.

The producer also mentioned how Mijoo raised the excitement with her energy that seems to never run out. Lee Jin Ho and Jangjun formed the "gag line" that was as good as Moon Se Yoon and Kim Dong Hyun from "Amazing Saturday."

PD Lee Tae Gyeong asks fans to look forward to the first episode and the cast's chemistry.

"Idol Dictation Contest" will air its first episode on May 21 on TVING.
