BLACKPINK member Lisa and Jisoo are, without a doubt, two of the most sought-after K-pop idols today. Aside from being part of the world's biggest female band, they have also been tapped to endorse numerous brands. On Wednesday, April 21, the two K-pop stars were credited as major factors that helped luxury brands BVLGARI and Cartier achieve their latest feats.

BLACKPINK Lisa and Jisoo Prove Their Massive Influence Again

NetBase Quid, which is a consumer and market intelligence platform, revealed that BVLGARI and Cartier are the most-mentioned jewelry brands of 2020. This, according to reports, was made possible after these companies hired BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jisoo as their global ambassadors.

BVLGARI, as per the report, was the most-mentioned jewelry brand in 2020 after it amassed more than 2.05 million total mentions and a whopping 20.06 billion potential impressions. Cartier, on the other hand, came close in second place after surpassing 2.03 million mentions and 17.8 billion potential impressions.

Most, if not all, fans can recall that BVLGARI named BLACKPINK Lisa as its newest brand ambassador sometime in July 2020. The Italian luxury brand, which has been in the business for more than 137 years already, revealed that the Thai rapper's modern and trendy image made them decide to select her as one of its endorsers.

Not only that because BVLGARI representatives also described BLACKPINK Lisa as a bold and unparalleled performer and a fashion icon, not only in South Korea but across the globe. Aside from BVLGARI, the "How You Like That" singer is also a brand ambassador for luxury fashion label Celine and world-class make-up brand MAC.

BLACKPINK Jisoo, for her part, was also announced to become part of Cartier's Pasha de Cartier digital project. Aside from the "Lovesick Girls" singer, the brand also tapped GOT7 member Jackson Wang and EXO member Sehun to join the campaign.

Following the announcement of BLACKPINK member Jisoo's new role, ELLE Korea stated that the South Korean songstress' charisma, beautiful features, and confident eyes overwhelm the camera. The K-pop idol would soon make her acting debut via the forthcoming drama series titled "Snowdrop."

BLACKPINK Continues Dominating Billboard World Album Chart

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK remains one of the most-stream artists around the world today. As a matter of fact, "The Album" secured the No. 3 spot on the latest Billboard World Album Chart. It is the 28^th week of the said EP on the tally.

Of course, aside from BLACKPINK, BTS has also been enjoying popularity with their chart-topping tracks. The group's "Map of the Soul: 7" album topped the most recent Billboard World Album Chart, followed by "BE," "Love Yourself: Tear," "Love Yourself: Her" and "Love Yourself: Answer" at No. 2, No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7 spots.

"Map of the Soul: Persona" and "Skool Luv Affair," which are both produced by BTS, wrapped up the Top 10 at No. 9 and No. 10 spots. BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" album also re-entered the chart at No. 14 this week. Other albums that made it to the latest tally include "RESONANCE Pt. 1" by NCT, "Super One" by SuperM, and "LILAC" by IU.
