Reports suggest that IU is, currently, single and she is not dating anyone in secret. Aside from her hectic working schedules, it is said that it is the "Dream High" actress' personal choice to stay single after her breakup from Jang Kiha.

In 2015, IU revealed she had dated Jang Kiha for almost two years already at the time. The "Celebrity" songstress admitted that she instantly developed feelings for Jang Kiha the first time they met in a radio show.

IU divulged she loves the fact that she had learned a lot from Jang Kiha and said she is thankful for that. The "Hotel de Luna" actress also revealed that, just like any other couple, they also had good times and bad times.

However, after four good years of dating, IU and Jang Kiha decided to end their romance. Neither of the former couple has confirmed the real reason behind the split. However, speculations suggested that their hectic schedules and irreconcilable differences triggered their decision to split.

After her public relationship with Jang Kiha, IU had not been involved with other men until she had a collaboration with BTS member Suga. Several fans suggested that the two K-pop stars make such as a good pair, especially when they are together. Others also projected that their "eight" duet would, somehow, lead them to develop romantic feelings for each other.

IU Reacts to Rumored 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo' Sequel

Meanwhile, IU talked about a possible second installment for her hit drama titled "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" recently. The "Blueming" hitmaker and her former co-star, Lee Joon Gi, talked about how they feel about having a sequel to their hit 2016 drama series.

Lee Joon Gi asked IU, during a special episode of "DREAM," if she would be willing to return for another season of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo." The "Coin" singer generously retorted that she is very much open to reprising her role and be back for a second installment, especially if things would get better.

IU said she misses working with Lee Joon Gi and the rest of the cast, staff and crew. The "Hold My Hand" hitmaker revealed that she still love the drama even if it was aired more than five years ago already, adding that there is no reason for her to not do the supposed sequel.
